Her eyes flowed a river of tears at the sight of his face,
She couldn't help but pull him into a tight embrace,
He loved her like no one ever would,
Held her in way no one ever could,
She stood there, in front of his soul's abode,
Aching to give his scars the kisses she owed,
Their eyes spoke what they wanted to hear,
Their kiss held wild poetry, one beyond words,
Every touch of his fingertip on her skin was a pure bliss,
Fireworks and shooting stars on the meet of their lips,
"love is not meant for me", to herself she used to lie,
But the butterflies in her stomach told her otherwise,
Their lips parted for air, like something they wanted to endeavour,
But they knew they wanted to breathe each other forever,
He was mesmerized by her beauty while she looked at the sky above,
That night, the moon cried along with the stars and she knew she was in love.
