When i fell from heaven, it felt like hell,
Wings lit on fire ; muffled words I yell,
The long white wings burning off my back,
Those pretty feathered wings quickly turning to black,
I was pulled apart from all the gods present above,
I lost my dear faith in forgiveness and love,
I fall from the brightest clouds of heaven to below,
A beautiful corpse holding a broken soul,
With a thud I fell on to earth from grace,
With hot tears streaming down my face,
I feel the stinging pain on my holy bones,
Being taken away from a place like home,
With a crooked halo, I wander in the dark,
Holding together my feathers that had torn apart,
Satin in my soul that had been stolen long ago,
Satan now knocks on the other side of the door,
I got lost in the darkness and let it consume my soul,
I got blinded by the unlit and lay there biting cold,
But a ray of sunshine hit me right on my eye,
I looked up and realized ;
In the dark, you appreciate everything that shines.
