Right there, in the crowd surrounded amongst us, I find those captivating brown eyes,
Those same eyes that met with my caramel ones; one I can't forget no matter how much I try,
My body stiffens on its own just at the sight of his brown orbs staring deep into mine,
Blood shooting through my veins, unable to steady my hand onto my glass of wine,
With every step of his towards me, I felt a sensation of tightness besides my breastbone,
Even with the vision of thousand eyeballs around, it almost seems like him and I met all alone,
I try to gulp down the saliva lodged at my throat as I watch him greet people who walked by,
That perfectly sculpted face of his that made it impossible to bid goodbye,
That charming smile of his that enthralled me into falling for him,
Reality hits me as I find myself a statue with tears filled right upto the brim,
Letting him go was hard, letting our memories go were even harder,
But that one glance of him reminded me I never can forget, even if it's forever,
I couldn't hold back the salty liquid my eyes produced and a drop rolled off my cheek,
But I didn't want it to, I didn't want to let him know his name itself makes my knees go weak,
I still remember the time he told me we should spend a night together with the moon,
I wish I could foretell myself the unfortunate heartbreak I was about to have soon,
And he sat down to find the stars for me;
But instead found faults in me,
Another tear falls bringing me back to reality, and I turn around from his sight,
I hear a voice so deep yet kissed with honey, " you remember me, right?"
