The circus was getting everything ready for their Halloween performance. It was going to be their first Halloween themed performance and it was going to be fun for everyone.

"Ok everyone let's get going. Let's look spooky and give the audience the spookiest performance they have ever seen" Alex told everyone as he and his friends helped the performers out. They had glow in the dark paint, some spooky theme costumes, decorations and more.

Alex looked over and saw Gia with Gloria, the two girls trying on costumes. Gia had dark purple and light green paint on her and purple eyeshadow with light green spots. The jaguar tried on a witch hat and made a growl. Both Gia and Gloria laughed and Alex at them.

But the lion noticed something. He saw Julian walking away with a large huge jack o lantern with him. That jack o lantern had all the candy that was going to be given to the kids at the end of the performance. Alex growled annoyed and ran after that lemur. Gia noticed him running off.

Julian set the pumpkin on a haystack, his hands on his hips proudly. "Ha ha! A big orange mango with candy inside will be the perfect surprise for my Sonya" Julian said proudly. " I don't think so Julian" Alex said and took the pumpkin away.

"Hey!" Julian said upset, jumping up to grab it. "This candy is for the kids Julian" Alex told him sternly, holding the pumpkin out of his reach. Julian saw a pair of hoverboots that the dogs use and had an idea and he smiled sneakily. Julian quickly put one foot in it and activated it.

"Here comes King Julian! WHOOOA!" Julian yelled and zoomed over so fast. "Whoa!" Alex said startled when the pumpkin was suddenly out of his paws. Julian had hit the pumpkin and got his head stuck inside and with the pumpkin heavy, Julian started falling down and flying all over the ground.

"Ah! Julian!" Alex yelled angrily and chased after the lemur. Gia arrived and saw the whole chase. Alex chased the lemur all around, knocking some stuff all over. The lion pounced but missed and the lemur zoomed off again while Alex hit the floor.

Alex's eyes widen when he saw that Julian was heading straight to Gia. "Gia watch out!" Alex yelled out alarm as he stood up quickly. Gia gasped and quickly the jaguar jumped up and grabbed onto a ghost shaped decoration. Julian zoomed off on the floor, missing her.

The lantern that Gia was holding on was starting to rip because of her weight and the jaguar quickly let go once the lemur passed. Alex gasped and quickly lunged to the ground and caught Gia in his arms.

BAM! The two cats heard a big crash and saw that Julian had crash into some stuff and cause the pumpkin was huge and heavy, it got stuck and the hoverboot was damaged as it flickered on and off weakly.

Alex stood up with Gia in his arms and he set her down gently, looking at her with concern. "You ok Gia?" Gia asked her worriedly, his eyes scanning her for any injuries. "I'm fine Alex" she reassured him and Alex smiled at her relieved before turning to Julian and glaring at him.

The lion walked over to him and pulled the pumping out from Julian's head. When Julian got his head stuck in it, he made a hole in the pumpkin so candy was spilling put. "Julian! Look what you did!" Alex groaned annoyed as he flipped the pumpkin sp candy wouldn't spill out. Gia touched the hole with her paw curiously while also glaring at Julian. She had started to learn that Julian can sometimes cause trouble when he wants something.

Julian shook his head, sore and dizzy from being inside that pumpkin but when he saw the candy lying all over the ground, he brightened up and started gathering up. "With all this candy, I can make a beautiful candy crown for my queen. Sonya I'm coming!" Julian said oblivious and excited and he ran off.

Alex huffed annoyed at the lemur but he looked back at the pumpkin worriedly. "How are we suppose to fix this? The performance starts in a two minutes" Alex said worriedly as Gia looked at him.

Gia's ears perked up at an idea and she looked up at her witch hat which she was still wearing. Gia took it off from her head and held it out to Alex. The lion looked at her puzzled.

"Why don't we use this to replace the pumpkin? It be much easier to take the candy out and we could make it part of the performance" she suggested and Alex looked at the hat, thinking on her words. He smiled at her idea as he held the hat too.

"That can actually work. Great idea Gia" Alex told her excited but the lion noticed that his hand was touching her hand when he went to hold the hat. Gia looked at his direction and noticed it too. Alex blushed pink but Gia smiled at him and Alex smiled back shyly. "Come on. Let's go tell the others" she told him as she took the hat and walked off. Alex blushed at her but he smiled at her as he followed her to tell the performers their new Halloween idea.
