reality isn't fun

alex and kara

"Kara?"Lena asked
"h-hey Lena" Kara said weakly leaving Lena shocked.
"Hey Kara, my lanta i thought i lost you" tears forming in her emerald green eyes.
"Don't cry i'm okay." Kara said lifting her hand up to wipe the tears that had fallen down Lena's cheeks.

"So are we gonna talk about what you said?" Kara asked Lena

"um if you want to." Lena replied taken back a little.

"I want to" Kara said still not looking
or sounding like the happy Kara everyone knew.

"Well what do you wanna talk about."

"can we take the test?"kara asked

"sure idk how to tho"lena replied

"all you do is pee in cup and some other stuff um ask a nurse to do it"kara replied

they took the test and waited for the results. it came back and kara was in deed the mother to the child in lenas womb

"What are you....What are we, because personally i don't know what i am. I've been straight-"

"I love you." Lena says cutting Kara off and placing a soft kiss on Kara's lips as Kara melts into the kiss.

"Well i guess i better tell Alex can you get her please."

"Of course"

Lena left to get Alex and went home to comprehend what she just did.

"Hey Alex."

"Hey sis, how you feeling?"

"Better have the doctors cleared me to go?"

"yep let's go home."
————————*at Kara's apartment
3rd person pov still*
Alex helped Kara walk over to the couch and got some ice cream for the both of them

"hey lexie can we talk"kara asked extremely nervous

"sure babe what's up"kara paused for a moment debating if she should tell her or not
"um y-you know what um never mind let's watch a movie."she said her voice trembling and tears forming in her eyes she turned around and hoped alex didn't see her. she hated lying to alex but she didn't know how to tell her.

"hey hey hey talk to me." alex said placing a hand on karas face and wiping a few tears that had fallen from her eyes

"i got lena pregnant and i think i may like her."
kara said now sobbing alex didn't say anything she just gave her baby girl a comforting hug and kara held on to alex as if she was gonna lose her. kara wore herself out and fell asleep in alex's arms

"i love you babe always and forever no matter what even if you got a girl pregnant" alex laughed a little and kissed karas forehead and then was asleep

* two weeks after this^alex and maggie got into a big fight

kara walked into alex's apartment and alex didn't notice her until she closed the door alex turned the tv off and faced her sister

"i said i was fine you didn't need to check on me."alex said before kara could say anything

"i'm not checking on you.....you've been weird ever since i told you."

"i don't mean to be."alex said

"alex i know when your sad, or when your disappointed."

alex gave her a look of confusion

"i don't know what i would do if you were ever disappointed in me." karas said her voice breaking a little

"i would never be disappointed in you but you said you didn't want to talk about it anymore."

"well i do i-i-if you're not okay with it"kara said with a slight stutter

"i am so okay with it!"
"sit down."alex said gently patting the seat next to her

kara just stared at her

"kara.....come and talk with me"alex said gently

kara sighed and sat down next to her sister

"kara you are not alone."alex said and placed her hand on top of karas

kara looked away on the verge of having a breakdown she turned to face her sister again with tears in her eyes

"i can't do this without you."kara said now crying

"and you don't have too"alex said calmly

"so what's lena like."

kara let out a small laugh

"i uh..i don't know i just like her so much you know she's smart and she's tough and she's just uh."

kara took a breather

"beautiful. she's so beautiful."

"so are you."alex said and gave her a sister a hug until a phone rang and ruined the moment

kara took her phone from her back pocket and checked who it was. It was lena

kara talked to lena for about 30 seconds maybe less
*on the phone*

K- hey lena what's up
L-nothing just bored at work, wanna come and keep my company
K-on my way

kara said then hung up. she turned to alex not wanting to leave her but really wanted to see lena

"it's fine go get your girl" alex said before kara could say anything

"thank you thank you thank you. okay i'm gonna go i'll call you later love you." kara said running out the door

"love you too" alex said with a laugh knowing kara couldn't hear her

ik y'all are like why would kara be so scared to tell her considering alex is gay and whatever but i was scared to tell my gay friends i'm gay😂also when alex says babe it's not in a relationship type way like i call my friends babe and stuff like that so in no way am i making this a story where alex and kara like eachother😂
