"I must thank you all for going along with the plan. You followed it to a tee." Lillia—Keir said.
"Why did you want us to find this place?" Drayce demanded.
"Why don't I let the lovely Elowen do the honors?" Lillia suggested gesturing towards Ella Rose.
Ella made a strangled squeak. Lillia sighed. "Drayce, what about you? You have your smart moments."
Drayce felt his shock boil to hatred. "Get out of my wife you demon. We won't do your dirty work for you." He growled.
"Demon?" Lillia scoffed. "I'll never be that low. Even in exile, I'm still divine. And as for my glorious work that has given you purpose, you already have." She stepped over and sat on the rock. "See, I can't visit a place dedicated to the gods in person anymore. But there are always loopholes. So here you are and here I am."
Lillia thrust her hand forward and Drayce felt the Sword of Amasar ripped from its scabbard.
"No!" Drayce tried to grab it with an energy surge of his own but wasn't fast enough. The Sword flew cleanly into Lillia's hand. She inspected it, looking satisfied.
"It seems that Zraa did her job adequately enough." She looked up again. "Shall we see what the Sword is capable of?" Drayce tried to pull it from her hands but it was as if the circle was acting as a shield against his power.
"Don't strain yourself." Lillia said pityingly. She stood up and looked down at the rock with loathing. "Isn't it interesting, that the gods decided to ground themselves in Kamasia? You know you people used to be our center of worship. I can't blame you for turning your backs on them though. Nothing worth worshipping."
"What? Now that you aren't a god, you're afraid of being forgotten?" Caelum taunted.
"Caelum, Caelum, you finally found your voice?" Lillia asked. "I think everyone wants to be remembered in some way or another. You, however, won't be so lucky." Lillia kicked at the rock "I however won't need to worry about that, since I will be seared into every heart and mind." She looked back up at them. "Well, say goodbye to the first generation of Those that Were." She hefted the Sword and swung at the rock.
"Wait!" They all screamed.
Lillia chuckled. "Oh, I'm sorry, did you want to do the honors?"
"Can I?" Drayce asked hopefully.
"No." Lillia said.
"We tried using the Sword earlier," Caelum blurted. "It didn't do anything, it's just a typical sword."
Lillia laughed harshly. "If you used it of course it didn't do anything. In fact, I'm surprised it didn't wither and disintegrate at your touch. But then again, that would be something."
"I used it outcast." Drayce spat. "It's not going to do anything."
"Well, pupils, let me show you how it's done." Lillia said before slicing the rock in two.

Drayce was blasted backwards in the explosion that followed. He hit the ground hard, rolling. He blinked his eyes hard, trying to shake off his daze. He was back in the forest. He had been thrown that far? The rock...The rock had exploded. What had destroying the rock done?
He forced himself to his feet and stumbled slightly, bracing himself against a tree. He looked around and saw double. He moved his head and felt a sharp pain on the back of his skull. He reached up and felt the bloody hair. He looked down and saw a rock ten feet away that had blood on it. He must have hit it what he had landed.
