Dear Diary,
Elena Gilbert is one of my best friends, and I'm so jealous of her! I really hate to say that but, I really am. And let me tell you why, she's dating one of the hottest guys in school. Stefan Salvatore. She's changed since they started dating, I'm not sure if I like it or not. She's spends all her time with Stefan! Ugh! She has no time for her ACTUAL friends, and it's seriously getting on my nerves... Caroline, Bonnie and I have to figure something out! She's been taken away from us by him!

~The Next Day before lunch~
I'm just trying to have a peaceful day today and avoid everything and everyone... Including my sister. When of course she comes up to me with, Caroline, Bonnie and of course Stefan. "Can I help you?" I ask facing my locker and digging in it, trying to find my history book. "Caroline, Bonnie, Stefan-" That's all I heard, and that's all I cared about. Usually, I'm one of the sweetest people you could ever be around! But ever since Stefan came into the picture, he's ruined things with me and Elena, so things are different. "Maya, Maya!" "Huh?" I asked, forgetting that she was even talking. I honestly forgot they were even here. "Did you not hear what I said?" "I only heard the beginning" "What when I listed our names! Maya!" "What do you want from me, Elena?! Hm? To go and hang out with you and your boyfriend? No thank you, you'd be happier without me, I'm sure he would, considering he stole you from me to begin with!" I whisper yelled, and walked away. "Maya" I heard Elena say. I had thankfully already found my history book, so I was heading to the classroom. The lunch bell rang and everyone went to eat, but I went outside to sit on the grass. Things were finally peaceful, and I was relaxing, when I felt someone standing over me. "Go away, Elena" "It's not Elena" Stefan said. "Go away, Stefan" I said, sternly and angrily. "What did I do?" "What?" I asked, finally opening my eyes and looking at him. "What did I do, to make you hate me so much?" "I don't hate you, but I strongly dislike you" "Why?" "Because" "Maya, if I'm gonna be seeing your sister, we're gonna have to get along and your gonna have to like me" "I don't have to do anything" I said, getting up. "Maya" "You wanna know why I hate you, Stefan?! Because you took my sister away from me! The only person I had! The only reason I have for being here was taken away from me by you she never has time for me anymore because she's always spending time with you! You, it's all about you, Stefan! Everytime we do talk, it's always about you! I never get to talk about me and what my I'm going through! I doubt she would even really realize or care if I wasn't here anymore! She just uses me to talk about you! That's why I don't like you, Stefan! And I'm never gonna either! So just leave me alone ok?!" He stood where he was, frozen in place with a shocked and hurt expression on his face.
~Later that night~
Elena hasn't talked to me since lunch, and I'm sure Stefan told her about what happened between us during our conversation. But, he's right, Elena's happy with him, and I'm glad she has him. So, I do need to like him; and the more I thought about it, the more I realized how much of bitch I am! I didn't mean to go off on Stefan like that, it just happened... I said everything that I've held in for so long. I know what I need to do.
I put my jacket and shoes on, and go downstairs. "Jenna! I'll be back soon!" "Where are you going?" "I need to fix something" she smiled at me. Elena told her too, that's wonderful, everyone's probably so disappointed in me. It makes me feel worse, knowing that I've disappointed everyone. I get in my car and drive to his house.
~The Salvatore Boarding House~
When I knock on the door, it opens by itself. Because it opens, I walk in and start looking for Stefan. "Stefan" I shouted, trying to get his attention. Just then a noise came from behind me and when I turned around panicked, the door was closed! I left the door open! "Stefan!" I shouted louder before turning around. When I did, I came face to face with a strikingly handsome man. "Huh! I'm sorry I came in but when I knocked the door was opened, so I came in" "You must be Elena's sister, Maya" "Yeah, um, how did you-?" "She talks about you sometimes" "All good things I hope" "Absolutely" "Um, is Stefan here?" "No, actually, he's at Elena's" "No he's not, I just came from there, since I do live there" "They must be coming back here then, hopefully him by himself, I can't take it anymore" We both chuckled. "You have a brother, too, correct?" "Yeah" "So you know how much of a hassle they are, and how much trouble they can be" I chuckled and said, "Yeah, I know" "Here, I'm sure they'll be soon, if you wanna wait" "No it's fine, I'll just tell him, tomorrow" "Come on, I wanna get to know you more, we're a lot alike, PLUS, it's pouring rain" "Yeah, it is" "So come on, stay and chat with me, let me get you a drink" "I don't know" I said, but he gave me this sexy smirk and I immediately gave in. "Ok ok, fine, but only until they get back, then I'm out of here" "Ok, deal" "Elena isn't gonna be happy, considering she's dating your brother, and I'm her sister... It's kinda weird" "Yeah, but who cares what they think" "Elena's never gonna leave me alone about it" "Who cares, it's your life, live it" He said, giving me that sexy smirk again. "Ok, fine, lead the way" "Yes!" He said like a teenage boy. "You sound like a teenage boy" I laugh. "You sound like a teenage girl" "I am a teenage girl, you dope" I laughed. "So, this is your living room?" "Yep, this is it... A little to much for me, but, you know" "Hm" "The couch is right there" I hear him say, as I wonder around the living room. "I know, I see it" "Sit on it" "Ugh, fine"
