And I almost kissed her twice, but Elena had to come in and ruin it the second time, just like the she ruins everything. But, you know, whatever.
Mrs. Lockwood is announcing the new 'Miss Mystic Falls' right now and all I can think about is her. About Maya. About how we almost kissed twice, but Elena ruined the second time. Maybe that's for the best, maybe I shouldn't have even tried to kiss her. Stefan's right, I'm leading her on, I don't know if she feels how I feel, yet I'm doing all this. Maya and I look at each other, smiling the entire time. "And the winner and our new Miss Mystic Falls, is..." Maya and I looked at Caroline, knowing she would win for sure. She's amazing. "Miss Caroline Forbes!" Everyone claps and cheers for Caroline, as I locked eyes with Maya again, motioning my head to my direction, telling her to come to me. "Hey, what are we doing here?" "We're hiding from everyone" "Why?" "So nobody can distract us this time"
