Finally I told him, it was difficult, but I did it. I'm glad it's over, and I'm glad I finally got it done. It was killing me. "Damon?" "Yeah?" "I'm in love with you" He smiled and I smiled back. I put my hand back on his cheek and looked into his beautiful blue eyes. My breathe increased a little bit as I looked from his lips to his eyes and back. "I love you, too" Damon said back and I smiled. I kissed him and smiled as I pulled back a little. "I'm sorry that I ran off on you the last time" "You gonna tell me why you did that?" "I was embarrassed" "About?" "Making that... Moaning noise" I whispered. We both giggled at me and he said, "Seriously? That's why you left me in the pouring rain, questioning myself?" He laughed. "I know, I know, Stefan did and said the same thing" "That's why you wrote that?" "Yep" "I will admit, part of the reason that some of the reason I came over was because I came over when you and Stefan were in here and I got a tad bit jealous" "THE Damon Salvatore got  jealous?" I laughed. "Believe it or not, yes I did" "That's... Really sweet, and... Really sexy too" "Yeah?" "Yeah" I said kissing his ear. He gets on top of me and starts kissing me. "Damon, you know we can't do this" "I know, but that doesn't mean we can't kiss and make out, Elena and Stefan do it all the time" "Ok, do you like stalk me or something?" "You wish" "No you wish!" I laugh. "Mmhm definitely do" "Your gross!" "Your gross" Your grosser!" He laughed and kissed me again. "Mm, I love you" He said. "I love you, too" I said back. I'm so glad I can say it to him now, and not be afraid of what he says or thinks anymore. It's a weight lifted off my shoulders. "So, does that mean we're like a thing now?" "Idk what about El-?" "Who cares about what she thinks or wants, Maya?!" "Your yelling at me" "I'm tired of you putting her wants or feelings or whatever in front of yours, think of yourself for once! Think about what Maya wants, not what Elena wants! She's happy with Stefan, it's your turn to be happy now Maya, think about yourself Maya" "But she's my sister, and it's selfish to only think about myself" "No, Maya! It's not! You deserve to be just as happy as her!" "I know, but, I now your not her favorite person in the world, and I don't want her to hate me or something" "Maya, you hated Stefan, but she still continued to date him! Think of yourself for once, Maya!" I have tears in my eyes and I feel as if I'm gonna cry. It's like a dang I love him so dang much cry! If that makes sense. "Why are you crying?" "Your just... So dang SWEET!" We laughed and he wiped away my tears. "You still don't believe me do you?" "I believe you it's just I don't want to hurt her, she's my best friend, besides Stefan now, he's pretty cool" "Uh jeez thanks" "Well your different, your more than that" "Yeah?" "Yeah" "Ok, come on, we're going for a walk" "What? It's 4 a.m. Damon, I have school in a few hours" "Your skipping today" "No, Damon, I can't just skip school" "Please, for me?" 'Elena, I'm gonna for a walk, I'm not going to school today, Stefan and I decided it wasn't a good idea since I'm still new at this whole vampire thing, I love you and I'll see you later, have a good day at school today... Love, Maya Gilbert'   I put it on her nightstand and left my door unlocked. Damon was gone when I got back in my room, "Damon? Damon?! Damn it! Damon Salvatore!" "What? I was down there waiting for you! Jeez you gotta stop that, please, never do that again, it's really annoying" "Don't do that again and I won't have to you moron!" I said and jumped out the window after he did. "Where are we going?" I asked as we were walking around. "Nowhere in particular, I have a question for you" "Ok, shoot" "When you first turned where did you get the blood?" "Stefan helped me out" "Stefan did?" "Yeah, why?" "He made you kill innocent animals?" "Well he said it was either that or innocent people, and I didn't want to kill innocent people, so I chose the animals" "Yeah?" "Yeah" "How'd it taste, Maya? How strong are you?" "Um, tasted good, I guess, I mean I don't know what else it's supposed to taste like" "Maya, vampires don't eat animal blood, they're instinct is to eat human blood, Stefan feeds off of animals, which makes him weaker. Your a new vampire Maya, you need to be strong" "Ok? So what does that mean?" "You have to feed on someone" "No way, Damon" "You have to be strong, Maya, what if a really strong vampire comes after you, your not strong enough to fight them off, especially being a new vampire, Maya" "Damon, I don't know" "Maya, how many times have you fed?" "Like once or twice" "That's not enough" "I've only been one for a day and a half, Damon, get off my case" "Listen, Maya, I know you don't want to do this, but human blood tastes so much better than animal blood" "What if the same thing happens, like you know when you fed off me and you couldn't stop, what if I can't stop?"
