Damon's View
I'm standing in front of this stunningly beautiful girl, she's beautiful. But, of course it's my brother's girlfriends sister, Maya. But, do I care? No. She's more concerned about it then I am and I can tell she is. She came over to talk to Stefan, but, I convinced her, without compulsion, to  stay and wait for Stefan here with me. So, now I get to see her and talk to her more. This isn't a normal feeling for me, usually I just want to use the girl for sex then blood. Or just blood. But, Maya, she's different, so much different than the other girls I've met in my 165 years of being here. She's niave, exactly what I need.
"So, tell me about yourself, Maya" I say, sitting next to her and handing her a glass of water. "What do you want to know?" "Anything" "Ok, well, I'm 16, Elena's my sister, always gets the attention... Um, I was born here in Mystic Falls, Elena and I used to be closer, until she started dating Stefan, then we started drifting apart. Now, we're just sisters" "Hm, yeah I get that, Stefan and I used to be the same way, until a girl came into the picture. Katherine was her name. I loved her but she chose Stefan instead, and so now we don't get along so well" "Yeah it always comes down to the love of a girl or a guy" "That's true" "So this Katherine girl, she ruined things between you guys?" "Well it's not just that she chose Stefan, but she was using us both, but I had her first... But she still chose Stefan" "Well, I'm sorry" "She unfortunately passed away in a fire" "Oh wow, that's terrible" "Yeah it was tragic" "I'm so sorry, that must've hurt" "Yeah, it did but, it's fine" "I'll be here if you need me to talk" "Thank you, Maya, but I'm good" "Everyone needs to talk at some point" "Not me" "Damon-" "Maya, I'm serious, let's change the subject please" "Ok" "Thank you" "Of course" "So, uh they should be back soon" "Yeah I really should get back though" "Ah, speaking of... Hello Stefan, Elena" I said, and of course at the time they walk in, Maya and I we close to each other, I she was trying to comfort me. "What the hell are u doing with my sister, Damon?!" "Elena, calm down, we were just talking" "I don't want you talking to him anymore, Maya!" "What? Why? What are you talking about, why?" "Don't worry about it, she's a buzz kill" I said to Maya with a smirk, making her blush. "Damon! I'm serious! If I see you with her again! I will kill you!" "Elena! Stop! We were just talking, freaking stop!" "Maya! You have no idea who he is, stop! Let's go!" "No, Elena, I'm tired of this! Your not Mom, your not my older sister your not the boss of me! I can make my own decisions!" "Damon, what did you do?!" "Stop, Elena! He didn't do anything!" "Maya, stay out of this!" "This is about me! I should have a say in it!" "Girls, girls, come on, no need to fight" "Shut up, Damon!" Elena and Maya shouted at the same time.
