Stefan drove me home, but I was still such a mess. Elena called Stefan and I think he told her she was at his house and he was driving me home. "Maya? Calm down, please... Your gonna be ok?" "I can't go in there! Elena is gonna hate me!" "She won't hate you, Maya, I promise" "Stefan?" "Yeah?" "I'm sorry" "For what?" He asked me as he carried me up the stairs quietly. "For hating you" "Don't be sorry, I understand where you came from, Maya" "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry Stefan!" I cried. "Sh, you're gonna be ok, I'm gonna explain it when we get upstairs, ok?" "Ok" I said. "That's Elena's room" "I know, I'm gonna get her and tell her to come over to yours" He opened the door to her room and she looked up at us, my head was burried in his chest. "Oh my God! Maya!" Stefan put his finger to his mouth telling her to be quiet. He mouthed to her to follow him. Once we got to my room Elena closed the door, and Stefan tried to lay me down, but, I didn't want him to let me go. "No, don't put me down!" I cried. "Maya, he's just laying you on the bed" "I don't want you to let me go!" I screamed, crying. "Ok, ok; stop screaming, your gonna wake Jenna or Jeremy up" He sat down on the bed with me in his arms. "Your kinda hurting my arms a little bit" "As long as your holding me, I'm fine" He layed me down to where I was laying down and my head was on his lap. "Ok, so what exactly happened?" "I don't know, she won't talk about it, either she was compelled or she just won't talk about it, to protect Damon" "Maya?" "Hm?" "What happened?" "What?" "What happened, when you left the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant place?" I thought about it for a few seconds and then sat up in bed. "Huh!" I gasp, as I sat up. "What is it? Maya?" "I... I... Elena I'm so sorry!" "What?" "I... I lied to you!" "About what? Maya what are you talking about?" "I... I wasn't sick! I was feeling fine! There wasn't anything wrong! It was Damon! He wanted me to tell you I wasn't feeling good and to come back to his place! Elena I'm so sorry!" "Maya, calm down, it's ok!" "I lied to you! I've never lied to you, Elena!" "Maya, calm down, it wasn't your fault!" "I... I can't... I can't do this!" I said, jumping out of my open window. I looked left and right, and took off towards the right. When I started to run, I ran as fast as I could to get away from everyone and everything. To run away from life, but I knew that I would eventually have to come back there. My phone rang and when I pulled it out it was Damon. "What do you want?" I wasn't running anymore, I was just walking around now. But, I have honestly no idea where I was and where I was going. "Look, Maya, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do what I did" "Sorry doesn't cut it, Damon! You might not have meant to, but you did, and now you ruined my life because I'm a stupid VAMPIRE!" "What?" "You heard me, and it's all your fault, Damon" "What can I do?" "You can leave me alone" "Come on, Maya, I miss you" "What part? Hm? My blood?" "Maya, please" "No, Damon, nothing you can do can make up for what you did" As I said that I heard a leaves crunch behind me. Stefan found me. Great! "Damn it!" I whisper yelled. "What is it?" "Nothing, I'll call you back later, ok?" "Yeah" I hung up and said, "Why can't you just let me be alone, Stefan?" "I need to make sure your ok" "I'm fine" "No your not" "Are you a mind reader now?" "Maya, come on" "What, Stefan?" "I'm just trying to help you" "Maybe I don't want your help!" "Trust me, Maya, you do, I've been in your place before!" Tears start to fill my eyes. "I know how confused and scared you have to be, and you can try and deny it all you want but every single vampire in the beginning is scared and confused about what's going on" He says to me. "Maya? I can help you if you let me" Tears start to stream down my face and I turn around. "I need help Stefan" I admitted as I cry harder, "I'm so confused! I don't know what to do!"
