I know that Elena wants Maya to be happy, but she's happy with Damon. And I also understand that she doesn't want her getting hurt, but so far Damon's saved her from as much hurt as he can. He's done the helping, not the hurting, in this situation anyway. "Well, I mean, Elena..." "What? Don't tell me your taking Damon's side with this?" I don't want to tell her but I do. I hate to say it, but, I do agree with Damon on this. He makes her happy, she changes him, and she changes him for the better not the bad. "He's just gonna hurt her, Stefan!" "Elena, listen to me, ok?" She stands with her arms crossed, looking angry. "Maya has changed Damon! Don't you think he would've hurt her if he wanted to by now?" We all laughed and I went back to my room, closing the door. "So, did you hear that?" "Yeah, I did" He says, running toward me, as I'm still in front of the door. "Why'd you say it like that? Didn't you want her to forgive you?"
