Prequel part 17 - They lost it

This has got to be the craziest thing I have ever heard. Looking at Cassie I can see she agrees with me. It's been hard enough to pull this off for two months. They want to keep this up until the wedding? There is no way.

"Guy's we can do this. I know it will be hard but Gabrielle talked about it a lot the last couple of days."

Look at them together. They look so in tune it's scary. They look like a pair of cat's that just caught the canary. This is crazy. We can't do this all the way up to the wedding. We will screw up somewhere and then we will all have egg on our faces.

"You guys really think the five of us can pull this off? Keep your relationship a secret? Keep your wedding a secret? For ten more months?"

"Cassie, we can do this. All we have to do is continue what we have been doing. We just have to be smart about things."

I love Gabrielle. She is smart and capable. But at times like this I think Jack may have put some of his craziness into her. Ok, bad mind. I am not going to think down that road.

"Cassie we have done it already and it was only the four of us. That's why we are bringing in Olyvia to help. If we can do it with four, five would make it easier right?"

Somehow that makes sense in JackandGab logic... Of course sometimes JackandGab logic has very little to do with reality.

"Think about it. How amazing would it be if the first time people find out about Jack and I is after the wedding? If we can pull this off it will be the greatest youtube couple prank of all time. Don't you want to be part of that? We'll be making history."

"So let me get this straight. You want Cassie, Jaycee, and I to help cover for you and my brother for the next ten months? You want us to help you prank all of social media? So you can blow it up on the day after your wedding? You really think we can pull this off?"

You know when Olyvia says it like that there is a certain beautiful calling to it. It would be amazing if we can pull it off. I would be proud to be part of a prank like that.

"Yes Olyvia that is exactly what I am saying. Gabrielle and I are all in to try. So are you in?"

Why are they looking at me like that. That's not fair. How am I suppose to say no to both of their puppy dog eyes.

"Ok, I'm in. How are we going to do this. It's going to be hard to continue our channel for that long Jack. You know a couple of people are already talking about the little changes in our interactions. Some people are already wondering if we have broken up and just aren't telling them. How are we going to do this for ten more months?"

"Easy, we play into it. Look... If we keep going and every once in a while let something slip about how your parents were uncomfortable with some of our original videos and how you promised them you would make sure to be more careful it could work. I can even act upset every once in a while... Like I don't like it and you can push back with something like come on Jack I promised them."

I got to admit. That could work. Everyone knows I was new to the whole youtube/social media thing when I joined Jack. They could believe that my parents are not happy with it. I think I see how this could go and it really could work.

"And I can keep going with my video's the same way we have been. I can just bring Cassie on more. She can play off me and say little things about how I can't keep a boyfriend or never seem to find a good one. It will work."

Ok, that does sound like it makes a lot of sense. No one is going to think that Cassie would be in on something like this. It would add a very good distraction for why Gabrielle never introduces a new boyfriend on her channel.

"Ok brother and my part of this plan? I can see why you need Jaycee and Cassie, but what do you need me for?"

"Olyvia you will have the most important part because no one would ever believe that you would be involved with anything like this. We need you for family cover. You know that Gabrielle's mother and our Mom and Dad are doing a lot of setting up for the wedding. We need you to basically fill in the family time for the videos. If people see you on every once in a while they won't notice that Mom and Dad won't be because they are busy with the wedding.

That is a good idea. Funny how much a month can change things. I mean a month ago Jack's parents just found out that they were back together and Gabrielle's parents didn't want Gabrielle anywhere near Jack.

Now both moms are basically taking over setting up the wedding like they have been dying to do it for years.

I mean they talk to Jack and Gabrielle.... Ok really?

They talk to Gabrielle about what she wants for x or y while Jack just nods to everything she asks for. The next thing you know you are watching them show Gabrielle options for the final choice. For two families that weren't sure that the wedding should even happen they have a one eighty harder then anyone I have ever seen.

I can't help but verify that we are going to go along with this madness. Well I guess we are not the 3... I mean we are now the 5 musketeers.

"Ok so are we all in on this? Are we going to help them with this insane idea?"

Nods all around. Ok great. It really shouldn't be to hard if we're careful. I mean it's not like they are asking us to try something really craz...

"Then two months before the wedding we will start phase two of prank youtube. That will be really when the fun will start"

Silence. You could hear a pin drop when we all stilled.

"Phase two?"

"Umm yeah. You see I was thinking that we could...."

As I look at them in disbelief I can't help thinking I was right in the beginning. Gabrielle and Jack have lost their minds. Oh well I guess we are sure going to try our best to make their madness a reality.

"Hmm I think we should wait a bit before telling you about the final phase."

The silence is deafening.
