Jack POV-
Part 1
I can't believe we are almost there. Only a few more weeks to go. The wedding is all set. Everything we needed to leak is out there and seems to be working just like we hoped.
We have finished all the video we needed to preset the two weeks before the wedding for Gabrielle's channel. We have all the "wedding prep" videos already set. Gabrielle and I just have to finish the editing on that last one this week.
Tomorrow Jaycee and I our going to finish recording enough for our channel to be ready to go tomorrow. Luckily Gabrielle will be there to help. It's going to be hard for Jaycee to fake "her "wedding prep" pieces. She is good but I am glad Gabrielle will with be with us to help.
Once those are done we are set. Then we can record the real wedding preparations. Gabrielle really is looking forward to that even if we won't be posting them until after the fallout from the prank.
We know that Jules and Saud will be coming in two days before the wedding. That's going to be a pain. We are going to have to be really careful about meeting up for those days but we have a plan.
Gabrielle is going to move back to her parents house for those two days. Funny how we both call it that now. When did that start? You know... it started right after Gabrielle moved in with me this summer.
I mean yes, for the last year we basically did live together. We were always together at my apartment or her dorm apartment. But once she graduated and basically moved into my room here, my room really became our home.
I don't think I have ever been happier and I can say without a doubt Gabrielle feels the same way. I can't believe I was worried about how we would get along if we lived together when I was younger. I was an idiot.
Anyway. So basically Gabrielle is going to spend the day with them in and out of her parents home. Then once they leave she will come home. I will be in charge of making sure she is up and home before they go to meet her the next day. Maybe she can just have them call here and then meet up at like a coffee shop in the morning.
Her parents and sisters are ready to play along. It should go fine....I hope. I mean even if they figure it out, I don't think they would spill anything to anyone. I mean Jules really is a good friend to Gab. But best to not take chances.
They will have to meet "Bill" in person for an hour that first day. We have that planned. "Bill's" father and brother are taking him on a one night camping trip as a pre-wedding thing. That will then flow into not see the bride for twenty four hours before the wedding. So they won't think anything weird about it. I have Will all prepped for his part.
Katie and Josh will not be getting in until late the night before. So they will be easy to keep in the dark. I can't wait to see their faces when I walk up to them in the church. I wonder if Katie will pe... Nevermind.
Neither of them noticed that if they looked up the two church addresses that they are the same church. Just from two different streets. That was my masterpiece. I knew they probably wouldn't check. So that covered us no matter which invite they decided to accept.
We are all set on our new apartment. We have already started shipping things to our storage there. We will be heading there the week after we return from our honeymoon. Luckily youtube has been good for us this year. Between that and the sponsors we have been able to purchase a lot of new furniture and things and they are already setup to be delivered on the day after we arrive.
We will have to thank our RubberDucky army for helping with that in the future.
We will have two weeks from the day we arrive before Gabrielle's first day in med school. That will be plenty of time to at least get the lay of the land and for her to learn the college layout.
I have lined up a part time job doing some internet marketing around social media. More of a consultant then a regular employee, but it's limited hours and good pay. That will help us try to keep our bills down while Gabrielle is in school.
I have already sold off two more business I started. That was a nice bonus. I was ready to just shut them down. They were making money, but not worth the effort. I just didn't have the capital to do the next step and expand it like it needed to, to really take off. I refuse to take on a and loan, we already have to deal with Gabrielle's loan to cover the difference from her scholarships and the cost of school. So that money will mean we at least have bills covered for one year and her school costs covered for two.
I am glad we refused to accept help from Gabrielle's parents for her schooling anymore. We are going to be married. It's our responsibility from that point on. I am glad they understood that.
Of course that didn't stop them from sinking the money into the wedding and things for us and for our apartment. I am ok with that though. We didn't ask. They just wanted to help. It felt nice after everything. They were reminding us that even though we were going off on our lives together we were still part of the family.
Well time for a drink while I wait for Gabrielle to arrive. Let's see what we have in the frigg. I don't feel like water right now.
Everything really is all set. All the bad feelings over the sister vs Jaycee fiasco are gone.
Oh why did I think of that. That was a panful fight to witness. It was short, but the feelings from it stuck around for a couple of weeks. I can still remember that lunch...
Tick tock tick tock.
