Chapter 40

It's been 4 weeks since the fight..

I still talk to Ashton and Luke and I hang out with Ashton quite a lot.

Me and Luke Skype every now and then, but the band is getting a lot bigger so they don't have much time for me anymore...

Lauren came back from her vacation with Stephen so we were all hanging out.

"It was gorgeous! blue crystal clear water,so many animals, I loved it!" Lauren exclaimed as she sat  in between Stephens legs while he held her close.

I wanted that.

I yearned for it.

I missed him.

As soon as my mind and heart started to ache again my phone goes off with a text from Ashton.

"Hey love,band practice today at  mikeys if you want to come. Luke shouldn't be there we had him go talk to reps. need a ride?"

I smile at the text up until I see that they sent Luke off somewhere else.

I text back, "no I have a ride see you soon."

I hit send then looking over to James, "hey love I need a favor."

"anything beautiful." He responds.

"Drive me to mikey's?" I ask.

"Okay." He says no questions asked.

"Way to leave us Sam." Lauren laughs.

"Sorry babe, have some drummer boy texting me saying he wants me to go so I'll figure out who this dweeb is." I say casually.

She giggles, "that's no boy. that is 100 percent drummer man."

I giggle as Stephen looks at her "excuse me?"

She kisses him, "don't worry baby you're my man." She smiles.

I smile at them.

James puts on his shoes as do I then we both walk out and to his car.

"So how are you and the lads now?" James asks as we get in and start driving.

"good I guess." I say looking out the window to the scene flickering by.

"do I have a chance in this running?" He asks smiling cheekily.

I look at him smiling and pinch his cheek softly, "aww my baby. I love you but I don't want to lose you, so no honey I'm sorry."

He keeps driving and talking, "you could never lose me. hell you could abuse me, break my heart and spit on it and you still wouldn't be able to lose me."

I smiled, "thanks James, but I'm still dating Ashton."

He shrugged, "for now at least."

I giggled as we eventually pulled into mikey's driveway with smiles on our faces.

James walked me up to the door and inside as Ashton greeted me with a kiss and a hug.

The other lads minus Luke were there and gave me a hug along with James.

"James are you staying?" Calum asked.

"No I have to head off. call me when you need Me back love. I'll miss you" he smiled at me kissing my hand before leaving.

"man that guy has some serious crush issues on my woman."    mikey said  with a smile.

Ashton rose his eyebrow "um don't you mean my woman?"
