"you did what?!" I exclaimed after me and James were back at my house.

"I'm sorry, I just had to make it clear he wasn't going anywhere in my book." He defended himself.

"James, I specifically told you not to talk to him! Why don't you ever listen to me?!" I yelled angry even though I didn't mean it.

"I was just trying to protect you..." he said softly looking down.

"Oh my God, James I'm not yours to protect get over your petty crush and move on! it's never going to happen!!" I yelled letting anger overcome my words and I instantly regretted it.

His face was filled with so much pain and heartbreak I couldn't describe it in words.

He stood up, "fine, if I'm just a burden to you and you want me to piss off fine I will! Don't come crying to me when your heart gets broken." he yelled back walking out the door, slamming it and driving off.

"No....No,no,no!" I yelled at myself realizing what I had just done and I ran outside trying to see if he was still there and surely he wasn't.

I felt tears stream down my face as Brittany and Lauren pulled in the driveway.

Lauren got out first and ran up to me "Sam what's wrong? where's James?"  She asked worried.

"I....I yelled at him and...and told him to get over his crush...and then he..he said not to come crying to him when I was heartbroken and left." I cried and said through gasps for breath.

She hugged me, "you both were at fault there, just give him so time to cool down he'll come back. He would never leave you unprotected."

I cried on her shoulder and Brittany walked up, "Sam I got your favorite ice cream and Lauren rented a movie come on let's go inside and have a girl's at it'll make you feel better." She said and I nodded.

Lauren helped me inside as Brittany gave me my ice cream and a spoon.

"thanks guys..." I said still upset.

"No problem, we're always here for you." Brittany smiled.

she's the last one I thought would say that, I haven't seen much of her since she was with Xander all the time now but she always had my back.

We started the movie,talked about random carp,ate ice cream, and has a girl's day just like when we were younger and it was the best feeling I'd had all day.

1 week later

"Hey mikey pass me a soda?" I asked as Michael nodded picking one out from the mini fridge they had and threw it at me.

"dude that could've been really bad!" I laugh and I set it next to me waiting for it to settle down from getting shaken up.

He smiled and Ashton put his arm around me as we sat on the couch at Luke's house.

I'd been hanging out with the guys for quite a bit now.

They were really cool and awesome! I didn't even mind seeing Luke that much anymore we didn't speak much, but when we did it was like when we first started being friends with the jokes and banter.

But, thank God for Luke catching the hint if Ashton didn't know about us because he would ask me questions about who I was,what I was like, and  a bunch of things he already knew but used them to get some answers for the rest of the group.

James and I still hadn't spoken, but Lauren said he's been really busy...I really hope that was true cause I missed him.

"So what's the agenda for your week too punk for us chick?" Calum smiled as he took a drink of his soda.

He called me that every once in awhile due to me saying I was more punk rock than all of them. 

It was true...

"Well dorky Asian boy I have to work tomorrow and then I'm on vaca for 2 weeks, and then I really don't have much planned just to hang out with you losers and go to your shows and whatnot." I answered and Michael laughed.

"Luke, you know if you stare much more Ashton might kill you." Michael laughed.

"What?" Luke said looking up at him.

"Sorry I mean I would be talking to Calum, but we don't know how much he can actually see." Michael laughed.

"Dude I'm not Asian!" Calum exclaims trying not to smile.

We all laughed and Calum got up, "screw this I'm going home."

"aww no cal." I said putting on a pointy face taking his hand.

"Sorry lovely, I'd love to stay but I got some stuff to do anyway. see you guys Later!" He smiled and waved before heading out the door.

We all waved back and Michael stood up "yeah I should get going as well, bye guys." He smiled waving.

He walked over to me "bye beautiful." He smiled and kissed my cheek and started running as Ashton got up and chased him outside which left just me and Luke.

Luke stood up and walked over to me, "well um, I guess now's as good as any time to ask you this but do you want to go on a date with me?"

"Woah, I'm dating your drummer." I answered quickly.

"No not like that but like a catch up date..." He explained.

"Like as friends just making up for lost time?" I asked.

"Yes an event to make up for lost time. Would you please go on one with me?" He worded awkwardly.

I couldn't come up with any other word in the moment before blurting out "okay."
