Fate's Play

He's a scallywag !

                                          Today, we had a break from the presentation as Miss Victoria took the topic 'Cosmology' and its divisions. It got my attention and resulted in taking notes as well as throwing questions at her. From her looks and her voice, I could say she was quite impressed with me. But Felix was silent the entire period. I secretly hoped he would ask about the incident that had happened to me earlier. Hell, I was cold to him today morning so he has the right to avoid me. If Nora was here, we would have had fun but fate isn't helping me cause she has to help her drama club. "Why is this happening to me?"  I thought to myself as I glanced at his side again by acting like tucking my hair. No smile, no word and never turned his head in my direction. "Its for your best " I chanted again and again to calm my mood.                                                                                                                                          When the bell rang, Miss Victoria stood up and said the least important thing we could ever expect. "Listen up class! Your art teacher is absent and I have been assigned as your substitute teacher so we will have a surprise test in this topic. Your marks will be taken for your progress report which will help in your scholarship" The whole class groaned except for Felix and I. She was well prepared for the test cause as soon as she she said this, she started handing out the printed papers. 35 minutes later, I handed the paper to Miss Victoria and took one last glance at him. As soon as I did it, I caught a glimpse of him seeing me. I smiled and took my schedule to find out that I had maths class, the next period. I reached the class to find empty seats.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         I entered the class and jumped a little when I found the teacher in front of me cough. "You can enter the class when the students start coming in. I have something important to do so please stay outside" he said. "Why is this day going so damn slow!!" I thought and sighed. I closed my eyes in frustration as I leaned on the wall. "Hey you?" came out from the wind. I answered without bothering to open my eyes, "Why do you keep disappearing on me?" "Why, Did you miss me?" he teased. I flushed red and said, "Stalking me?" as I opened one eye to look at him. "You'd like that, to do it for a pretty girl, wouldn't you?" his smile widened now. I laughed, lifting my head off the uncomfortable wall.                                                                                                                                           "Do you always answer every question with another question?" I asked closing my eyes again. I could hear footsteps nearing us and my eyes popped open towards that direction to meet my puzzled maths teacher. "When I told you to stay outside, I assumed that you would maintain silence" he paused and scanned my face as he continued, "Miss, since you are new here I'm leaving you this time. Please don't use mobile during class hours because the next time, you'll find yourself in detention" he said. "Can't he see that I was talking to the boy next to me or is he blind?" my mind rudely retorted and I bit my lips to not let those words come outside. "Sir I do believe there's a misunderstanding because I was talking to my friend over here" I said as I gestured to an empty void space next to me.                                                                                               I was baffled. "Where the hell did he go now?" I muttered. "What's the name?" "I don't know sir" I said as I lowered my head in shame. "Maybe they're trying to pull your leg, I guess" he chuckled. "I'm sorry dear" he said. "No sir, I'm sorry. I'll try to be careful next time" "Good" with that he went back to class again. The ninja guy just made me to get caught on the very next day. THE VERY NEXT DAY!!!! AGH!!! Next time if I meet him, "Obviously you'll meet him Dumbo or he will surely find you" she mocked me. Yes, then I should definitely ask for his name and land a punch on his pretty face for teasing and playing tricks on me. That brought a smile to my face.                                                                                                                                                               I took no notice of the students who came inside. The mysterio guy had completely knocked my brain off. I couldn't concentrate on those heavy mathematic equations. It went inside through one ear and came out by another. To be honest, I've never had an instant crush on guys but no one was compared beautiful to him except Felix. Don't get me wrong cause no one caught my attention back home. One our very first encounter, he scared the life out of me but he looked timid and shy. But in the second time, he was acting like a strong person. How is that even possible? My stupid mind isn't even concentrating on the sums! I quickly shook my head as if it would clear all those weird thoughts. His green eyes never left my mind even though I try to forget them.                                                                                                                                                                                                               Whenever I think of him, there are butterflies in my stomach. Ughh! Why am I acting so weird today? "Ahem, Miss Luke? Are you fascinated by the plain boring wall instead of focussing on the sums?" the booming voice pulled me out of my tangled thoughts. "Sorry sir" I mumbled, while the whole class laughed at me except for Felix as he griped the table harder, making his knuckles go white. "Why is he acting like this? Have I offended him by making myself feel embarrassed?" I thought but then I let it away cause I don't want that question to keep on nagging me since I was dead set on one thing.                                                                                                               I had three things to do now. Firstly, I have to kill my mind cause she's overthinking too much which makes me feel exhausted. Secondly, I need to focus only in my studies and shouldn't let other thoughts meddling through my mind. Thirdly, I should very seriously stay away from him or everything in my life would go downhill.

            hey guys!!! sorry for the late update today cause I had to go to school to collect some files but the happy news is I got a chance to see the real world outside.....
