"That was such an amazing day" Brooke belly flops onto the cabin couch.

"So relaxing" Jade sits down next to her.

"Hey I'm just going to quickly run down to the camping spot to make sure we didn't leave anything behind, we packed up in a rush so I just want to make sure we have everything" I yell out as I walk out the cabin and towards my car.

I hear the wire door open "wait I'll come with you" Kai exclaims.

"There's really no need, I shouldn't be long" I say as I get in the car.

"Are you sure?" He asks concerned.

"Make sure those 2 are alright, and plan something for us to do when I get back" I start up my car and drive off.

It's nice to have some alone time to myself if I'm honest, just driving through the trees and seeing all the other things nature has to offer that I don't really get to experience back home, I get to really take in all my surroundings.

I reach the camping spot and have a quick look around to make sure we hadn't left anything like tent pegs or anything small that we may have missed.

"A water bottle, of course there had to be something" I silently laugh to myself.

"AYEEEE" I hear from the campsite that was next to ours.

They have all already started drinking and partying, it's only 4pm, idiots.

"I'm glad we've moved into the cabin away from them" I mumble to myself.

I picked up the bottle, it has my name on it, and of course it had to be my water bottle, good thing I decided to come down and double check.

I headed back to my car bottle in hand.

"Welcome back" I heard a voice say.

I stopped in my tracks and looked around, there was no one there.

I walked to the other side of my car in case whoever was speaking was being blocked out of my view. Nothing.

*snap*

My eyes went wide and I got back into my car and drove back up the the cabin as fast yet as safely as possible after I heard yet another snapping of a twig.

I slammed the car door and rushed inside the cabin.

Everyone looked at me confused.

"Sorry"

"You okay?" Jade asks as she starts making her way towards me.

"I uh..." I look out the window and see the clouds starting to darken, "yeah I'm fine I just didn't want to get caught in the rain" I lied.

Jade walks past me and looks out the window "lucky we went to the lake today then, looks like it's going to piss down on us by the looks of those clouds".

The rest of the day we stayed indoors since I started to rain. I stayed seated on the coach trying to shake my thoughts of the figure that kept trying to contact me.

"How has the weather done such a 360 from such the nice weather we were having earlier" Brooke sadly said.

"No one can control the weather unfortunately, hopefully it'll be better tomorrow" Jade replies.

I still feel uneasy about the interaction that occurred earlier down by our campsite. Should I tell everyone what happened? But I don't want to worry anyone about it... what if it's nothing?

I felt like I was being watched and followed.

I could hear a faint whisper "What a lovely cabin".

I shot up from the couch and Jade gave me direct eye contact immediately, I knew that Jade heard the voice as well.

Kai and Brooke looked at us confused as to why we were staring at each other and standing so stiff. By the expressions on our face they knew that something was up.

"What is it.." Brooke started to talk.

"No... don't..." I say as tears start to fill my eyes.

Everyone is watching me wide eyed and unsure of how to react.

"I... I... I need to tell you all something" I finally blurt out.

They all came and sat down on the coach and chairs of the cabin and I start to speak.

"Earlier when I went down to our campsite, I heard a voice... similar to the one we just heard before Jade" I look to her tears flowing down my cheeks.

"But... that's not the only time I've heard voice while being here, when we first arrived every now and then I could hear faint whispers but I wasn't able to figure out what was being said so I assumed I was imagining it or something..."

"That's not the only thing though... I keep hearing someone snap, it sounds like twigs..."

They all stare at me with sadness in their eyes.

Before anyone can say anything another whisper can be heard.

"So you were aware"

We all froze in place.

"Fun"
