Everytime I close my eyes,
I go to the Lord in prayer.
I thank Him for the life I've had
If tomorrow is not there.
He held me close and surrounded me
With all the love He has.
He told me that He'd carry me
If things start looking bad.
So now when I get nervous
Or just a little scared,
I know the Lord is here with me
Just guided by my prayers.
