I thank you Lord, for the answered prayers
That came from Your dear hand,
For faith You gave to trust when things
Seemed hard to understand.
And as I kneel before Your throne,
My soul is filled with praise,
For how You've worked within my life
How wondrous are Your ways.
I thank You for unanswered prayers
That I have yet to see,
For whether answered yes or no,
You'll choose what's best for me.
So leaving all with You, content
I'll face the coming days;
Rejoicing that I'm in Your care,
My heart shall sing Your praise.
