Chapter 1A - moving in & 1B - can I help

As the trio approached town onyx noticed the looks that she was getting, was it for her breakdown earlier on or for her grey skin and hair. The thought left her as they approached the house and ted dropped off the bags. "thanks ted." Gwen said as he walked off back to his own family. Gwen knocked on the door and her parents existed and hugged her immediately. After a few seconds of them hugging her nonstop, they spot onyx and notice that something had changed with her. "is she ok?" her mom asked. "I can explain later but for now I need to ask you if she can stay with us for a few weeks, her house has been destroyed" Gwen askes of her parents "of course she can, you know she's welcome to stay at any time, but where's her brother?" her dad asked to know.

Upon herring her brother name she started to tear up. "is she all right?" her mom asked, "I can explain but for right now, onyx go upstairs and make yourself at home." Gwen explained and asked of onyx. She proceeded to go stairs and after putting her bag in Gwen's room she went to look for the air mattress in the closet and when she found it, she went back to the room where she could here Gwen explaining everything to her parents. She rolled her eyes and went through her bag. She found the map from the last adventure and she hid it in a draw, out of her sight. Next was the speed orb, which she now knew was called a "core" and she hid it in the same. It was too hard to think about the previous events and what they lead to for her.

She emptied out the bag until she came to the picture that started the adventure she was trying so desperately to forget. However, she felt like hiding it was going too far so she placed it next to her air mattress and she fell on to the bed to only jump back up when Gwen startled her. "I see your making your self at home." She said startling onyx. "sorry." "for what?" Gwen asked of her best friend. "so, you told your parents everything?" onyx returned "yep." "how did they take it?" "they're taking it well, but they want to meet the others." Gwen explained. "that's fair." Onyx responded as they settled into being roommates when Gwen's mom called them down for dinner. This is when it fully set in for onyx that she hadn't eaten in nearly a week and she still wasn't hungry.

The two went downstairs where they sat at the table and started eating. "so, onyx, Gwen tells me you don't need to eat." Her mom stated, "I haven't really eaten in about a week, so I don't think I need to." Onyx explained "no to mention that the others have been hidden for like, 6 years, so..." Gwen added on. Onyx still ate as it helped her make her feel normal, but she ate it too fast and it started to hurt. They soon went to the room where Gwen was so worn out, she fell asleep. Onyx couldn't sleep however, so she decided to climb out of the window, and she climbed down the few loose bricks that where in the newly reconstructed house. She wondered what to do when she looked at her contacts realising that she never got the numbers of the other when it hit her that they may not even have phones.

She went to the closest ATM where she took out some money of her and her brothers' savings and she got a cheap smart phone. It wasn't anything to fancy but it was up to date enough to work with most apps. She walked over to the house under construction where she decided to check up on the beast that beet her the other day and it wasn't there. She had to wonder if it was diamonds beast like the others had or if It was some unrelated creature. The question left her when she found the house. "hay guys!" she shouted to the trio working on the house. "what are you doing here so late." Aqua asked "I don't need sleep and I need to give you something." She explained giving aqua the phone.

"what is this?" aqua asked "it's a phone. You can use it to talk to me from nearly anywhere." She explained. "thanks." Aqua responded confused and placing it in her dress's pockets. "you'll figure it out. Can I see the plans?" onyx asked. Granite showed her the plans and onyx already had alterations to make. She added a bathroom and a basement. "how do you plan on adding a bathroom?" granite asked her "diamond had piped going to and from a deserted freshwater lake and I know the pipe is somewhere around here." Onyx explained as grannie searched for the pipe and he found it. "that's the one, now we also need a basement just to put things in." onyx explained. "all right but you should head back now, the sun's coming up." Aqua pointed out and onyx ran back at her usual speed. She climbed back in the window and she got back on the air mattress and faked going to sleep.
