"Ah, the children finally came home to play" Zarkon smirked as he stood in Daibazaal castle doorway, glancing down to the two children who caused so much trouble.

"Unlike you, we know when the game is over" Matt replied in a rough and proud voice, he stood like a true king and no fear was seen in his eyes.

"I think we both finished playing long ago, did you not noticed the cat no longer chased the mice. Instead the cat lays in wait for the mice to grow foolish and come running to him" Zarkon replied smugly, stepping forward and noticing either twin staying still showing they no longer feared him as a person or as a king.

"Its clear who was the cat and who is the mice, after all the cat will always have a place to belong too while the mice will forever be despised no matter where they go. A cat may have started as a house cat but they are smart enough to find a new home even in an ally. It can survive alone unlike mice that only knows how to make others fear it while it runs stealing" Katie answered in a stern and prideful tone, her hands beside her as she stood beside her brother as an equal showing no weakness between her and her brother for Zarkon to try and use.

"How dare you, I showed mercy to you and this is how you repay me" Zarkon growled back, stomping his foot as he step forward.

"You see, that the difference between you and Me while we sit as Kings. My people are not afraid  to show what or who we are unlike you who hides behind strength and power like a plague" Matt spoke up with a slight smirk, looking at Zarkon slightly amused.

"And what are you, low life rats" Zarkon snapped making Matthew chuckle.

"We the cats, Meow" Pidge smirked as she looked Zarkon dead in the eyes, a hunter staring to its prey that had nowhere to run.

"You may have crowned yourself as King of the Garrison Kingdom but I still hold a rule over Altea Kingdom and my own. Allura has yet to be crowned and while that is so, the kingdom is mine .. I HAVE WON" Zarkon proudly smirked as he stepped forward, glaring to the Garrison King and Princes.

"Then clearly your link to the kingdoms souls has faulted" Matt snapped back smugly making Zarkon freeze.

"Altea has a new Queen, crown just five minutes ago and one day the kingdom will have a king. The Queen and King will be linked by their love and marriage. You are only the king of Daibazaal now" Katie explained, a hand on her heart testing Zarkon to feel the three kingdoms souls and feel the truth.

"And as you King Zarkon has broken the peace treaty promised by the mage and her three friends when the kingdoms were first created. You are no longer king of Daibazaal, you have betrayed your friends and the Kingdoms souls by killing the old Kings and Queens of Altea and Garrison Kingdom. You are now a traitor and given to the title, the blade of Marmora have felt the agreement of the kingdoms souls and the truce land soul" Katie spoke in a clear and warning voice showing Zarkon just of his crimes for all those around to hear.

"As living King of Garrison Kingdom and friendship with a pure truce to the new Queen of Altea, we have ordered banishment for you. Unlike you, we show mercy to old friends but if you ever try and sneak into one of the three kingdoms again then you will be sent to your death" Matt spoke out his punishment, looking Zarkon dead in the eye showing the crimes and punishment have settled within the kingdoms souls.

"You have a day to leave, once left the kingdoms protection walls will keep you forever out. If we find you never left when we feel your link to the souls tomorrow, then death will be given to you" Katie warned with a slight frown and Zarkon stood froze.

"I will not fall to the hands of children, I AM STILL KING" Zarkon hissed back storming forward and pulling out his sword, ready to strike towards one of the twins.

"You really shouldn't fight a war with Katie on your side because she is never wrong over a person" Keith smirked as he stood before the two siblings in a blink of an eye his mother blade lifted up and crashing to Zarkon sword. His glare meeting with the ex king angry one.

"He in your hands now Kolivan, we hope the blade of Marmora can take him to the edge of the kingdom for us. We'll take care of the last of his men who may still wish to follow him till death" Matt replied as he looked to Kolivan who nodded before waving over a group of blade of Marmora who grabbed Zarkon arm, keeping him in control as they pulled him away.

"My King and my Princess, once Zarkon leaves this kingdom he'll never be able to return. A new king or Queen will be needed but only the Daibazaal soul will choose. Without a ruler the kingdom will be left in the hands of people who only known Zarkon power hunger" Antok spoke up, concern in his voice as he gave a head bow to them.

"Daibazaal will choose a person who can save this kingdom, the person with a true heart for the kingdom soul. All we have to do is wait and if one steps forward the crown will glow over them if they are the one" Katie smiled softly and Antok gave a small nod before walking away.

"You seem to have much faith in the stranger who'll one day rule Daibazaal. Zarkon was chosen by Daibazaal kingdom soul and yet look how he turned on us all.  Can we really trust the soul to pick a person heart" Keith spoke up with slight worry as he placed his blade back in its sheath turning to Pidge who lowered her eyes a little.

"The kingdoms souls choose a person heart is right to lead the kingdom and keep the peace. Zarkon heart was once in the right place, he just choose to lose it as he grew for power" Katie answered with a sadden frown.

"I see, well if another walks the same path then I know we'll be here to save the kingdoms before anymore pain is given" Keith smiled softly, taking her hand in his as she gave a small nod.

"Gross, have a moment without me close by. I'm gonna help the rebels go collect the last of Zarkon men before you two make me puke" Matt grumbled as he started to walk away while Katie and Keith laughed whole heartly over Matthew actions.

"Hey Keith, can you do me a favour even if it might damper our good mood" Katie asked with a small smile, concern in her eyes.

"I will check if anyone rounded up Haggar yet or Sendak, it was strange that neither stood by Zarkon when you stood in the open with Matt. They not ones to hide" Keith replied knowing what she would ask from him.

"Thank you, Zarkon may be defeat but that dose not mean he did not leave one last trick to be used after he left" Katie warned and Keith nodded in understanding before walking away.

"Please dad, tell me I may be wrong this once" Katie whispered as she placed a hand over her heart feeling the kingdoms souls along with t he truce land.
