"Best medication in the Garrison Kingdom and its just for you" Lance grinned as he placed a glass cup down beside Keith where he sat on an old bench in the garrison castle garden.

"Beer" Keith asked with a raised eyebrow as he sniffed the liquid within the glass while Lance sat beside him.

"Sadly a cure for a broken heart or a shattered one in your case hasn't been invented. But this is better then nothing, drink it before Shiro finds out I stole beer from the castle cellar" Lance answered as he lifted his own glass before taking a sip.

"She gone, I know she it but I don't accept it. Why did she have to die for us to live free. Why wasn't she allowed to have a happy ever after when she was the hero of our story. But the worse part" Keith spoke in a small voice, glancing to the mage book in his lap that taught him, Katie and Matt their transformation magic.

"The worse part" Lance asked with a slight frown, glancing to the man beside him.

"She left nothing behind of her own. The glasses are Matthew and this book stolen from a blade member. She never had anything personal that was her own, nothing for me to hold on too" Keith frowned as he lowered his head before sipping his beer.

"I think your wrong, me, Shiro and Hunk .. we all carry part of Pidge within us becuase we became important to her. But you and Matt, you became her true treasure in life. As long as we live, we keep part of her alive and I think thats the most beautiful gift she could have given us" Lance smiled sweetly, looking the clear blue sky.

"But we'll all one day leave and die, she'll be forgotten once we take our last breath. How is that fair, I don't want her death just being unknown when she the reason we get to stand free here" Keith replied as he turned to Lance, sipping his drink a little in defeat.

"We all die at some point Keith, some sooner then others and not everyone will leave a name behind. In due history even villains and rulers names will be forgotten because new history will be made and taught instead. All we can do, is just live the life we given and fight back a little before dying. Just be happy while you can becuase I can promise you Pidge was, she had you her soon to be husband and the love in her eyes along with the smile she held. That was pure peace, a type of peace she wanted all to have" Lance smiled kindly, his eyes sweet as he glanced to his glass in hand.

"Thanks Lance, but I will still leave once Daibazaal has a new King or Queen. I don't want to stay in a kingdom where she not standing with me. At least, in the truce lands I can still feel her heart close by. I know I shouldn't hate Matt for his sister death but if only no one kept such a secret then maybe we could have found another way to win" Keith weakly smiled as he placed a placed his free hand over the book left on his lap.

"I know what you mean but maybe some secrets are meant to be kept. Think about it, when Zarkon first tried the spell the kingdoms were safe becuase they didn't have Pidge. If everyone knew to kill her, then she would have to live running and hiding all her life. At least, with it being a secret she got to die without having to hide anymore" Lance smiled and patted Keith on the back before standing up, downing the last of his beer since he only poured a little in each cup so no one notice the bottle being less empty then it should be.
