"You seem rather amused my king" Shiro spoke as he came to a stop beside King Matthew who stood with a glass of wine in his hands and a very amused smile on his lips.

"Please no title, we are friends now otherwise I might have to start calling you sir Shiro. Now while don't you enjoy the entertainment of the night and glance over to my sister who is currently stuck with the lord of the Nile mansion. While he seems rather smug of himself and proud while he speaks to her, my sister has currently just been sipping her glass of wine while giving fake smiles. Its been a good five minutes and she'll be finishing her wine in one more sip, I should go save her but this is to just amusing to watch since she can't fight back due to having to play her princess part" Matthew grinned as he nodded towards his sister and the lord, one clearly enjoying himself while the other was clearly dying inside. 

"Do you not worry he after her hand in marriage, she is a princess now and many with money would wish to take her hand in marriage. She'll be the perfect gain for them to move up in life" Shiro asked with concern and Matt chuckled.

"Trust me my friend, my sister will not take this man to be her husband. Her heart as already been stolen by the man she loves long ago and she could never betray how she feels towards him. She may be the princess but she is also human and my father taught us to marry for love not benefit meaning I won't allow her to marry if it isn't love" Matt answered with a sweet smile and Shiro gave a small smile.

"I see, your people are lucky to have you as their new king and I'm sure Garrison will be in good hands for now and forever" Shiro smiled kindly and Matt gave a thankful look. 

"You .. helped the rebels?" Katie asked, clearly not believing the lord who has been talking her ear off for the past five minutes. Of course, since she was the princess she wasn't allowed to admit to being once known as Pidge and being a rebel herself.  

"Oh yes, I helped with the rebellion. I took in their injured at my Mansion. The Nile mansion at on the hill" Lord Nick of the Nile Mansion, only getting the mansion within the past two years after his father died from sickness and him being the only hire to take it.

"Oh yes, I have heard of the mansion and you helped rebels not turn them over to Zarkon knights" Katie replied, acting impressed as she very well knew over the Nile mansion, it was a place where he pretended to help injured rebels before handing them over to Zarkon knights for extra cash and the good life. Of course, the rebels knew about his and stayed away after a year once they noticed what was going on. 

"Oh yeah, I had to help save my kingdom back but well a lord should never fight. All I could do was give the men a place to sleep and eat for the night" Lord Nick replied proudly and Katie knew it was all bullshit.

"I see, how brave of you to hide rebels in your home when King Zarkon would have sent you to your death if he knew. Your such a man, must have so many women hoping to be your wife" Katie mumbled in fake flattery as she lifted her glass to her lips ready to drink the last of it and use the excuse of an empty glass to sneak away.
