"Katie" Keith called out as he stepped into the open area by the castle main entrance.

"She not with you" Lance asked in slight panic, he just assumed Keith would be with the princess like he always is.

"No, she sent me to check on a bad feeling. I left here right here with you guys" Keith replied as he walked over Lance.

"The rest went to round up the last of the men with Matt and Shiro. Hunk at the cells locking them up until the men calm down from the battle rage. We all just assumed you were with the princess" Lance mumbled with a frown as he rubbed the side of his neck.

"So, where were you .. have you seen her" Keith asked with slight hope that soon faded as Lance shook his head.

"I was helping Hunk but since only basic guards after left I was told to come back up and make sure no second attack was planned and keep an eye out trouble near the gates" Lance answered as he nodded his head to the gates that were a couple feet away.

"Do you know where Matt is now, maybe she went to meet up with him to talk over her bad feeling. Haggar and Sendak hasn't been in the count, I've just checked and those two haven't been captured yet and no one heard of anything over them either" Keith frowned, worry filling his stomach.

"They should be heading here in a second, its been ten minutes and well they were almost done. Promising to return here and see what else might need doing before we announce the end of the war" Lance explained and Keith gave an uneasy nod.

"Hey Lance, remember when Zarkon tried breaking the Garrison soul by using Matt link. You don't think he'll try that again now we've brought matt here, he'll only need to be on the grounds to be forced to open the link within him" Keith nervously asked, crossing his arms over his stomach.

"Wait, you don't need Haggar and Sendak is still here setting up the spell again. It failed last time, they won't risk a second time in case of a rebound" Lance tried to argue back, fear in his eyes.

"What would they have to lose if Zarkon being kicked out as we speak. If it fails then they don't lose much but if it works now Matt king, they'll gain hold of all three kingdoms at once or so they think. They don't understand how dangerous a shattered soul would be" Keith spoke, a straight face and his lips in a slight frown as he thought more over the idea.

"Haggar would only need to be somewhere in the castle to cast the spell and none of us did a search due to the guards or soldiers either surrendering or running at us. But its been a full twenty minutes now, why haven't they casted the spell yet" Lance sighed as he placed his hands on his hips, a bad feeling growing in his own stomach.

"Lower our guard, the deeper they could get Matt in the castle and let more of his guard down the easier the spell will work. Don't forget Kolivan warning over a king or queen being freshly crown. As they bond with their kingdom soul and become one they be at their weakness to be tainted. Matt would fall to the spell this time, they'll have full access to breaking the Garrison soul" Keith replied as he glanced to the castle looking for any sights of trouble that might stand out for now.

"They would also need to do the spell from fresh to make sure we wouldn't feel anything strange when we stepped in the castle. We just gave them the needed time" Lance spoke in horror and Keith nodded.
