By the end of our training session, Charcoal learned Slash. He was strong for a Charmeleon; I often got compliments from people I battled saying he was one hell of a Charmeleon. Even from gym leaders. & it's because he was so determined & believed in himself to the fullest.
Even Eevee participated in a few battles. He was beginning to get used to them. He also learned a new move; Bite. He seemed to be growing up so fast.
I didn't train Phantom & Jolt much that day. They were already really experienced. & when I did bring them out into the battle field they swept away our opponents fairly easily. I did see them improve slightly though, & that was great.
Venus, my Ivysaur, learned Growth during a battle with a Primape. Relic, (who was one of the most popular Pokemon there) learned Mega Drain. I can't tell you how well liked Relic was. Everyone wanted to pet my Kabuto simply because of the fact he was a rare fossilized Pokemon. Apparently, fossilized Pokemon were really hard to get a hold of. According to statistics, one in five hundred trainers had a fossilized Pokemon, or so I heard from a trainer who loved fossilized Pokemon. Brandon & I were one of the lucky few of them. I didn't doubt that, because during our whole journey not once did Brandon & I come across another fossilized Pokemon. We never saw one, besides our own.
I used my Magikarp in just a few battles. Only the ones I knew he could handle. Magikarp was such a sweet Pokemon. But he was also very self-concious. Being a Magikarp, he was taken for granted; thought to be useless by a lot of arrogant trainers. Sometimes, people laughed at me when I used Magikarp. This made him sad. I could see it in his eyes everytime. That pain... & it hurt me to see him like that.I loved him just as I loved my other Pokemon. I always did my best to ensure him that he special. & he was. He wasn't very strong, but I told him that if would ever be a Gyarados, he would be very strong. He seemed to love the idea. His life goal was to one day evolve into a Gyarados, & I supported him 100%. Even if he wanted to remain a Magikarp forever, I would support him no matter what.
As for my Vulpix, Cinder, she learned Flame Burst. The other girl trainers at the Trainer House found her simply adorable.
As for Brandon's Anorith, who was also extremely popular, it learned how to use Brine & even Slash. Anorith was getting pretty powerful.
His Dewgong wasn't used for many battles. Dratini learned Dragon Tail, & was also pretty popular himself. Dratini were rare, hell, dragon-types were rare period. & not to mention, strong. One day that Dratini would be a big bad Dragonite. His Eevee seemed to always be a step ahead of mine. She learned Bite & Refresh, & was starting to take down some stronger opponents, like Butterfree & Beedrill.
Growlithe learned Flame Burst & Agility. Poliwhirl was easily becoming stronger after it evolved. Ryhorn learned Drill Run & Wartortle learned Water Pulse.
That was probably the most successful & progressive day of training we'd ever had.
"Hey where are you?" I asked Adriana over our video call. There seemed to be some loud music & a few people where she was. She was in an expensive looking house, it looked like a small kickback to me."I'm at Gary's house! Come over! He's having this fancy dinner with all of the other eight gym leaders in Kanto & I heard that even the Champion himself & perhaps some of the Elite Four might come!" She squeeled happily. I saw Gary in the background with drinks in his hands. When he saw Adriana talking to us, he told us to come over, & to dress nice.
Then he gave me his adress.
Apparently, the house was in Viridian City, but kinda heading more towards Viridian Forest. "He said to dress nice," I bit my lip & faced Brandon.
