Meeting your mate is supposed to be eye-opening.

At least that's what my parents told me.

But this time was similar to the first.

But completely different at the same time.

He looked like a breath of air. I couldn't take my eyes off him. As he walked closer my essence felt attracted to him. His body was screaming dominance. Something in me was going crazy because I whimpered from the sheer power his piercing silver eyes gave. I felt like I couldn't breathe because he left no air for me to consume.

He made his way over to me with the smoothest smile. Well, one that he could make with blood splatters all over his clothes. It must have been a rough fight. I still act like I don't understand anything and that this man god in front of me is just a hot man who caught my eye.

When in fact he is, supposedly, the new love of my life.

I don't want to say anything that would make me seem weird. I smile back with my pretty eyes interlocking with his. I felt entranced. Yong See and Cho-Hee had disappeared.

He stopped in front of me. "Mate... Hi. I'm Jung Eun Kim. You don't know how long I have been waiting for you. Now that you are here I don't think I can thank the Moon goddess enough."

I just stared at him. Still keeping up my facade. I still was in awe of his handsomeness though. He must have noticed because his smirk widened.

He knelt so that he could be my height he was a little shorter than me sitting down. That didn't stop the fact that he was a giant. He looked 6'5 compared to my 5'4 self. It made me intimidated but also intrigued. I wondered if my tiger was bigger than his wolf.

Talking about Ty-la, she was shocked that we found another mate so fast. But she loved the fact that the moon goddess gave us another chance with what looks like a nice person. My mate had the presence of a Beta with strong alpha-like tendencies. Jung stared into my eyes longly while I tried to fully process him.

"Mate?" Was the only word I said that seemed to throw him off completely.

Suddenly Mrs. Monroe pops up and hugs my not anymore kneeling confused mate.

"Jung! Are you hurt? Did you hurt those evil rogues? Is my son and his mate okay?" She asked with a slightly concerned emotion on her face. She grabbed him and looked into his eyes for some reason.

"Mrs. Monroe. I'm fine. Yes. Those enemies are gone and won't be coming back. And yes. Adam was right behind me and alive." He said after she took her hands off his face. They seemed to know each other. Which was cool because she is probably going to be my new boss. A huge gasp was taken before Mrs. Monroe was beside me while another lady hugged my mate.

Jung and her both had the same black hair and monolid eyes. That was about it. I could just tell she was his mom. "Son!!! Is that your blood? Are you bleeding?! Why are you smiling? You seem to be happy for someone who just fought off a pack of vampires."

He scratched his neck looked at me and then whispered something to his mom. I couldn't hear it but I don't think it was important. She smiled and nodded walking away as he threw a thumbs up to her.

I tilt my head, looking more confused. I looked back at his mom and something clicked in my head. Cho Hee and Yong See look almost exactly like her. Is Smurf and my mate related?

Just as I was going to ask. Mrs. Monroe and a large man both announced that we could leave the bunker since the threat no longer existed.

Everyone left pretty quickly. They were all organized so nothing seemed to go wrong. I was in there last because I had no clue what I was supposed to do.
