"What? How???? Adam. I SWEAR we just talked about his safety. You said you were gonna get a bodyguard for him." Jung says with slight anger and frustration seeping from his words. I shifted closer to him as I stood there with his hands on my waist. His dominance made me feel protected.
"I tried to but he caught on and said that if I give him a bodyguard then we weren't going to do it for a month. You know, I have urges man! I can't wait that long." Adam said. It was an awkward silence after that.
He nervously slid his hands down his face in despair.
"Wow, always thinking with your other head. That doesn't even matter now that your mate is gone, huh?" My mate said with deep authority in his voice. The energy waves coming from both of them were very dominant. I had a hard time being in both of their presences as their scents fought for superiority the whole time.
"Yeah, but we have to find my mate. I need him in my arms now!" Adam commanded while making it clear why he was the Future alpha. His deep scary voice was very persuasive. Even though I just met the man I got welcoming vibes, even when he was commanding us.
"And we are going to. Arjun will be found promptly. Leona, you can stay in my room if you want. You will be safe here. You can sleep in my comfy bed too. Plus, I bet you are tired." Jung declared while turning to look at me. He caressed a strand of hair back into place with a slight smile.
He took his hands off my waist and started walking us out of his bathroom. I tried to make sure I didn't slip again.
"I don't want you to be in any more danger especially since we know they are targeting you," Jung said while going into his closet to get dressed as me and Adam sat on his bed. He came back out in his robe and some socks.
When his robe dropped my mouth instantly watered. His tatted muscular back and juicy-looking clothed booty were a nice view. He rummaged through his clothes drawer for pants. Covering himself but his long large legs looked great being outlined in khaki shorts. I was drooling at his physique.
I sobered up when Adam agreed that they were targeting me.
"It can't be my ex-family. Because I
know for a fact they aren't even looking for me." I stated since I knew without a doubt that they didn't care. I twiddled with a strand of my kinky hair that was in my face."Well, they wouldn't just take a future lunos from a pack," Adam said with a serious face. His dimples were no longer visible. I tried to think about why they would just take one person.
"It's a trap-" Tyla said lowly in my head. She was right. Our family didn't care but our ex-mate probably does.
"It has to be a trap. My pack doesn't care about me." I repeated. Jung growled at that knowledge, his anger scared yet also intrigued me. "And they have a secret invisible shield around the whole pack that tells the alpha directly when anything enters or exits their pack lands."
"We have our own defense mechanism too so that shouldn't be that hard to get around. "
"But I used to live there so if they took the person you're looking for. I can tell you the directions to get to the special dungeon. I know where the chambers are that hold the important people." I said trying to help the somewhat desperate man find his other half.
"She would be a great help with his mission Jung," Adam said excitedly yet sternly. Jung looked at him like he was crazy.
"I'm not putting my mate in danger. Unlike you. Why can't we just get her to describe it to our architect and figure out a plan?" Jung asked as he turned around to put on his shirt. Giving me a great view of his abs.
"Does she know the whole building schematics? It would be easier if she did but she probably doesn't so why would I put my mate in potential danger? Over someone, she doesn't know?" Jung ranted.
"Who is it?" I ask since I know it has to be super important for me to even think about going back to the awful place. I shivered with fear.
"My mate." Mister Alpha Adams said. His face deflated as I looked at Jung. He had an unreadable face so I just sat and thought about it.
"Wow." I was speechless. I took a second to process what I was gonna do. But I didn't want to go back. I just left. I finally got a taste of freedom... But I have to think about others.
"I'll help," I said kind of reluctantly. I was stressed that I would have to go back to the place I had just run away from. Especially so soon.
"No, you won't. I'm not putting you in a dangerous disaster, you just got hurt. And I don't want more trouble with that. We still need to go to the doctor and get you thoroughly checked." Jung decided while looking at his friend with rage in his eyes. The tall man took his words seriously.
"I'm not gonna put my second in commands mate in trouble. So how about you just tell us where it is? Like detailed instructions. And you'll stay here with the pack doctor as we will stay vigilant and go find my mate." He suggested getting a fast response from my mate.
"That sounds like a good idea. Could you give Mario descriptions of everything?" Jung asked gently. "If it's too much trauma we don't have to."
"No, I should be alright. Especially since I'm not going." I said while Tyla started plotting. They made their pack ground so confusing for a reason. I had to go with them so nothing went wrong. Even if I have trauma, I'm not going to let my mate face my ex-pack alone.
"I'll tell the pack to get ready for a mission. The goal is to help get their other future alpha back." Adam said as we both got the hint that Jung wanted to be alone with me. He left with a wave and closed the kinda broken door now.
"I apologize for him bursting in like that. He freaked out a little with his mate not being here and everything." Jung said while coming to hold my hand.
"It's okay. I just hoped he didn't see anything. He seems chill though. Strong aura. I assume his mate is male?" I asked while smiling at him. He smiled back with a hint of shock.
"Yeah. A joyful, small but scary man who is quite convincing when it comes to anything. He has my best friend wrapped around his finger." He said after letting out a hearty chuckle.
"I could tell." My inner tiger said as I sat in silence as I took in the situation. Jung walked over to me after a tear slipped from my eye as I thought back on my experience there. I'm so glad he didn't make me come with him. But I have to make sure they are safe and effective against my ex-pack.
They might be horrid people but they know how to fight. My mate's pack seems well versed too. Jung wiped my tears while I sat there silent. After a few more seconds I got the courage to ask him.
"What's this pack's name? I just realized I never asked." I asked looking at him. He
"We are the Lunar Fang pack." My mate said in his deep voice. My eyes widened so big.
"That's why ya'll aren't scared. You are the beta for the second most powerful pack in the US."
