The knock scared me back into reality. Floating in bliss was a great distraction from my endless worries. My body was instantly in goosebumps. The fear of seeing my ex again haunted me. He couldn't have found me that quickly again, right? How did he even escape!? What if he kills Jung and forcefully claims me?

My mate's calming voice pulled me from all my agonizing thoughts.

"Baby, It's your brother," Jung reassured me as he stayed in the doorway. I was completely under the covers so I popped my head out to look at who was standing in the door.

It wasn't who I expected. I was in shock as I stared at Tigran's head at the door. He was covered with blood. I was concerned.

"I need to bring you to meet our mom." He panted. I noticed he had open wounds and bruises on his arms. He was sweating profusely and it shocked me.

He was looking so collected the first time we met. Even in the middle of a pack war. This time though it seemed different. He didn't look too bad but it still had me worried.

"Are you okay??" I asked before I started to overthink. Covering myself with the sheets completely so I look like a burrito. Standing up and sitting myself up straight to not be suspicious.

"Don't mind me. I'll be fine in five minutes. Just surface scratches." He said standing up straight and oozing the confidence I had seen when we first met, even though he was bleeding a bit.

"But Mom can't wait any longer. She told me to bring her to you immediately. Luckily, I remembered what pack your future alpha said." Tigran says with a hand rubbing the back of his neck. "But since y'all were basically in a war with your original pack last time. I decided to keep her at home. But she wants to meet you. I can bring you there since we have protected land now. We can even bring your mate. Mom wants a relationship between us as a family and I just want you to be safe." Tigran explained in a long rant.

I stared at him in shock. Before I signaled for Jung to close the door. I was still naked and Tyla was still upset we didn't mate with Jung yet.

"Gimme a sec. I'm coming with you." I said before Jung closed the door. I was nervous. Am I going to meet my biological mother?

I was jittering with nerves. Jung seemed to notice and came over to the bed. My mind was racing and I had to ask him.

"Did you mean what you said about not wanting to leave my side? Because if so I'm gonna need you near." I looked into Jung's titanium eyes. He sat next to me and wrapped his arms around me.

"Of course, I am going to be right next to you the whole way." He said before kissing my forehead. The Sparks never get dimmer even though he kisses me often. "I need you."

"Mate. This is a perfect time for me to show you. I want to show you how much I care for you. My first mate passed when I was nine and I had made it my responsibility that if I found my second chance mate I would never let anything happen to them. And here you are. So I vow to protect you." He exclaimed as he put his forehead onto mine. I reveled in the feeling of closeness. Our breaths are in sync. The sparks were taking over so I pulled away after giving him a peck.

"I need to get you your own wardrobe. The few outfits you have are not enough for a week. Especially when you are now royalty yourself. After we get back I have to take you to buy some clothes that you like." Jung said as I grabbed my backpack and took out some jeans. Jung passed me one of his smaller black shirts but it still looked huge on me.

"Do you want me to tie it up so it doesn't look like it's drowning you?" Jung joked as I felt shy again and turned away. It was funny but I couldn't help but feel self-conscious. I couldn't help the fact that my genetics made me short.
