Henry's POV:

Charles and I were returning from a mission, snow beating against the front of the helicopter. How could he even see in this weather? Bumps of turbulence here and there, along with swaying told me all I needed to know about how difficult this task was for him.

A blizzard had started during the mission, already a foot of snow on the ground. Shivering, I looked down, noticing that my fingers had turned a little blue from the freezing weather. I wasn't able to wear heavy clothing of any kind due to the fact it was a stealth mission. Heavy jackets and tight air vents do not go good together, but quite frankly neither do thin shirts and blizzards.

Deciding against alerting Charles about my fingers, I crossed my arms over my chest, tucking my hands into my armpits. I wouldn't want to distract him from keeping the helicopter under control.

Just as I felt I was about to doze off, the voice that I loved hearing so much piped up through my earpiece.

"How ya doing back there, Hen? Sorry about the turbulence, it's a winter wonderland out here!"

I loved how positive he was being about the situation. Charles always knew how to make every bad situation good, always knew how to cheer people up. I loved everything about him, just everything. I guess I zoned out cause after a moment I heard,

"Hen? You okay?"

"Yeah, I'm okay" I told him in a quiet, almost slow voice, slumping down in my seat. I felt so exhausted even though it wasn't even a difficult mission. It took absolutely everything in me to not take a nap right then and there.

Charles POV:

I had never flown during a blizzard before. It was difficult I must say, but the snow wasn't the thing I was worried about.

I was worried about Henry. He had spent a lot of time outside on that mission, and it was -10°F, almost too cold for me to even fly the helicopter. It wasn't too terribly warm inside the aircraft either, the heating system not being the absolute best. Yet, I had on a heavy coat. Henry, however, did not.

When he had talked to me through the headset, I noticed that his voice sounded a little slurred, a sign of hypothermia. Flying back to base as fast as I could considering the conditions, I hoped that he would be okay.

                                   -30 Mins Later-

As soon as I landed on the thankfully clear helipad, I rushed to Henry, seeing him barely awake. I felt my heart sink as I tried to talk to him.

"Henry? Hey, Henry look at me."

He slowly looked at me, seeming a little dazed. Immediately upon seeing that, I took off my coat and put it on him, zipping it up and throwing the hood over his head. I took Henry into my arms to try and keep him warm, calling out over my headset,

"I need medics to helipad 3 immediately, possible hypothermia."

Thank goodness I got a quick response alerting me that the medical team was on the way. I noticed Henry clutching the jacket with his blue fingers, thinking it was probably just because he was cold.

Within ten minutes people were there to help, wrapping blankets around him and using heating pads to try and raise his body temperature.

As I stood and watched with worry, the general came up beside me, putting his hand on my now freezing cold shoulder.

"Henry will be okay, Charlie. You need to get out of the snow before you get hypothermia too."

The general stated as he motioned to my lack of a coat. Slowly nodding, I followed him back to the base to warm up, heading to my house while Henry was being taken to the hospital for treatment.
