Alone with Dani, Jason was sitting on the edge of the bed, with his hand placed in hers. Gently, he pecked the top of Dani's forehead, letting his lips linger on her flesh. Dani had been asleep for a while, she was wore out and exausted from everything she went through with Mike. There is no telling what Mike made her do, but it was best to be left unknown.

Jason was worried about her, and also, he felt bad about everything he had said to her before she was kidnapped. Even though, Dani said she understood, he still has to live with the fact that he said those things to her, and he let this shit happen to her. It wasn't his fault, but he blamed himself for everything.

Coughs escaped Dani's mouth as she started to awake from her nap. Jason caressed the top of her hands with his thumb, to show affection. "Sleep good babe?" Jason said, curving a slight gentle smile onto his full lips. Dani knitted her eyebrows together, squinting her eyes. "Jase? what are you doing in here?" Dani was still half asleep and her voice was still hoarsed. She sounded like a bullfrog croaking when she spoke.

"I was just checking on you, to make sure you were okay." Dani slowly sat up. Her hair was a mess, but she obviously didn't care, neither did Jason. He seen her worse than this. "I'm fine Jase." Coughs escaped her lips once again. "Are you hungry?" Jason asked, raising his eyebrows. Dani widened her eyes."If you're cooking it, I'll pass." Jason shook his head with a smile on his face. "My cooking can't be that bad, fuck. I can make soup." Dani trailed her tongue along her bottom lip to moisten them. They were dry, pale, and chapped.

"Sounds good." Jason got up from his spot that he was sitting in and went into the kitchen. Zoey was sitting at the table, it looked as if she had just woken up. Jason pecked her head as he walked by her. "Good morning beautiful." Zoey smiled at his words, and got up from the table. "Good morning handsome." As Jason was making Dani's soup, Zoey wrapped her arms from behind, around Jason's torso, with her cheek against his back. She pecked his shoulder with her lips and squeezed him to show affection.

"That for Dani?" Zoey asked, as Jason was stirring the soup that began to steam and boil. "Yeah, this is the only thing she can eat at the moment." Or that was the only thing that Jason knew how to cook without burning down the whole house.

Jason took hold of a bowl from the cabinet above him. Slowly, he poured the steaming soup in the bowl, and placed a silver spoon for Dani to eat with. Jason brought the soup to Dani, who was still in the same position Jason had left her in. "Here ya go, be careful it's hot." Jason handed Dani the heated bowl. "Thanks Jase." Jason pecked Dani's forehead, and let her eat.

Zoey was sat at the table once again, but this time her head was down, her face was placed in her arms. "What's wrong babe?" Zoey quickly picked up her head to eye Jason. "Nothing, I'm fine." Albeit, she wasn't fine. Guilt pervaded into her stomach, making her feel sick. Jason knew something was wrong, but he just let it go. She would end up telling him sooner or later, so he thought.

The only thing Zoey wanted was to be happy, and make others happy, but the whole thing with Justin was keeping her in a stressful mood.

Little did Jason know what was going through her mind. The only thing Jason could consider what was wrong with Zoey was her period, but boy was he wrong. "Zoe, you know you can talk to me. What's wrong?" Zoey would tell Jason what was wrong, but it would only make things worse for her.

"Jase, I can't tell you. It's just this problem I'm going through and It's better if it is left unsaid." Zoey stood up from the table and left Jason sitting by himself. He watched Zoey walk her way into the room, slamming the door behind her.

Sighs left Jason's mouth. "What could be wrong with her?" Jason said aloud to himself as if someone was there to listen. Thoughts filled his mind. He was clueless.
