“Goodmorning handsome.” Zoey said biting her lip. Jason caressed her face with his thumb. “I love you, Stella.” Jason said softly. Zoey raised an eyebrow.
“Who the hell is Stella?” Zoey snapped. Jason closed his eyes and heard echoes of Stella’s scream in his ears. Sweat started to form on his face. He looked nauseous in the face.
“Jason.” Zoey uttered. He didn’t respond.
“Jason.” Zoey said again. Instead of Zoey’s voice, he heard Stella’s. Jase, I love you, Stella’s voice and giggles echoed into his mind. Jason held his head with both of his hands, tugging on the ends of his hair.
“Stella, I’m sorry!” Jason said raising his voice. Tears blurred his eyes.
“I’m sorry.” Jason said with a quiver. Zoey eyes Jason.
“Jason! Snap out of it! Look at me!” Zoey exclaimed. Zoey grabbed Jason’s face and glared into his eyes. Zoey brushed her lips onto his, moving her lips in sync. She placed her hand on his jawline, and caressed it. She broke their lips apart and leaned her forehead on his. Jason darted his eyes back and forth.
“I’m not Stella, but I will be your Stella if you want me to.” Zoey remarked, licking her lips. Jason smiled slightly. He moved Zoey’s hair out of her face, and placed it behind her ear. Zoey still loathes Jason more than anything, but to get revenge, she has to do anything and everything to make him believe that she loves him. Zoey pecked Jason’s lips.
“You turn me on.” Jason said curling in his lips. He didn’t mean just sexually. Zoey had turned on Jason’s feelings, emotions everything that was turned off. Jason was still the twisted and evil boy he was before, but when his feelings were on, he was more sensitive and very caring in little things. Shocker huh? When Jason was younger, he didn’t have the right parental guidance that he needed. His mother was a crackhead who couldn’t wait to get the next high and that’s all that she cared about. Jason’s dad was never really in his life, but his mom would tell him stories about him and the things that they did before he was born. His mother would tell him,
“You ruined my life, you worthless piece of shit.” It stuck into his head. He was only ten years old when his mother said that to him. He blames her for the way he is, but you have control over your own life, you make you… you. If anything, Jason was exactly like his father, as his mother told him. She blamed Jason for his father leaving her, so she loathes Jason because of it. Justin was the angel of the family, she always gave Justin everything and anything he wanted. Of course, Jason was jealous of him, but he still loves him as his brother. He thinks Justin tries to up one him on everything he does, but now that he is older, he could care less. Justin was always the straight A, good boy who listened to everything his mother said, but Jason was the opposite. They may look a lot alike, but they are no where alike in personalities. Anyone who grew up in the life that Jason McCann did, would understand why he is the way that he is, but living in an unstable household isn’t the only reason why he is the way he is. That was just one of the reasons.
“Get out!” screamed Jason’s mom filling the room with hot air. She was drunk out of her mind, not acknowledging what she was doing.
“You worthless shit.” She spatted again, grabbing Jason by the arm and shoving him out of the house, slamming the door in his face.
“I don’t need you!” Jason shouted with anger in his eyes. Jason pulled his hoodie over his head, leaving it half way off, with his shaggy hair in his face. He slipped his hands into his pockets to warm them up. Smog blew from his lips, into the chilled, brisk air. Jason drug his feet on the decaying concrete and went on his way. Gunshots rang in the air, making Jason stop into his footsteps, not knowing where the shot came from. It was silent. Jason started walking again, looking behind him an side to side, to make sure he was safe. Jason was only ten years old. He didn’t know how to take care of himself, let alone live on the streets on his own. In that case, he would die. Jason continued to walk the streets of the old town. Jason stumbled upon a narrow pathway. It was dark, and mysterious. Of course Jason’s curiosity got the best of him. It was a dark alley, long and uninviting. Jason liked that. He walked down the pathway and walked until he reached the end of it. an old abandoned house stood at the end. Jason stopped in his footsteps and admired it. “Freeze!” A loud voice shouted. A gun was held to Jason’s head.
