Chapter One
❤❤❤Aria’s POV❤❤❤
I tossed and turned as I dreamt about long dark tunnels, with creepy crawly creatures, and strangely, two very handsome boys. The blonde one was being dragged by shadows, while the other one ran after them screaming, “NO!” It played before me like a movie, and I was forced to walk through it, following the path where the shadows dragged the blonde boy. Before the dream could finish, I felt ice cold water being dumped on my face, and with that, my eyes shot open. Shivering from the water and anger, my eyes slowly began to focus on a girl who was laughing on the ground. I slowly began to look around at who was around me. I began to match faces with their names. First, the girl on the ground, I recognized as my fraternal twin, Avery Silverwood. She is 5’6” with chocolate long wavy hair and bright ocean blue eyes. She’s a huge prankster, which now explains my now wet bed. Not that I did anything.
My eyes flickered to Eve, who was standing on the side of the bed. She’s our cousin, just one year younger at 15. She, being the happy nice cousin that she is, skipped merrily to get me a towel, happy she had something to occupy her with. Her crazy reddish brown hair made everyone wish they had it, as it flowed through the air while she skipped. Her light brown eyes giving away that she is the most trustworthy out of the group. She always wore the cute clothes, even if we were at a funeral or something, she’d always stayed on the positive side of things, no matter how dreary the event may seem.
As she disappeared into the bathroom, I looked at the person who was trying hard not to laugh in my pity. It was our best friend, Jesslyn, but we just call her Jess. Her shoulder-length brown hair matched her light brown eyes, which had golden speckles fluttering around her pupils. Being shy, she looked at the ground, ashamed she allowed my sis to pour ice water on me and my bed. I smiled as Eve returned with my towel. That girl is always doing things for people.
Rubbing my face in the towel and shaking the shock off my face, I looked at everyone and squinted my eyes.
“THANKS FOR STOPPING HER!” I yelled sarcastically while Eve happily replied,
“Your welcome!” Avery just laughed even harder.
“That was sarcasm Eve.” I looked at her questionably, wondering if she was serious. She just looked to the side of me, “Oh.” Shaking off the laughter, Avery said to all of us, “Go get dressed lazy bums! It’s time for breakfast!” I dragged myself out of bed, grabbing my usual large black nerdy glasses, slipping them up higher on my nose with my pointer finger. Everyone left the dorm as I changed into random clothes I found in my drawer. Before I left the dorm like everyone else, I slipped on a pair of my favorite red high-top converse and grabbed a rubber band to put up my wet hair in a neat bun. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door before breakfast would be over and school would start.
I went to our regular table, where we had the best seats, because Avery had ‘connections’. Or blackmail, either way would do. I sat down next to the girls, placing my tray of food next to theirs. Jess was wearing a plain black and white plaid skirt that came up to her knees and a regular white t-shirt with black converse. She also had a cap on with her hair sticking out of it in a small ponytail.
Eve sat next to her, in a cute little red dress that made her look like she was dressing up for valentines day, with a pink bow in her hair while it flowed down. She had on gold semi-high heels, which were 2 inches tall. A golden heart necklace dangled from her neck.
My sister was saving a seat for me, and she had on normal red TOMS, black skinny jeans, red suspenders that hung off her hips, and a red and white thick-striped shirt. Her hair was in a fish tail braid hanging off her shoulder.
I slid in my normal seat next to her and she gave me a glass of water. I smiled warmly at her, then looked down at my plate, but it didn’t stay there for long. There were bugs in my drink! Being like any other girl in the world, I screamed loudly at the top of my lungs and flung the water to the side, glaring at a smirking Avery. Then again, when was she not pulling pranks and smirking? I should be used to this by now.
Everyone stopped what they were doing to turn their heads to look at me. I blushed under their stares. I heard a few snickers and whispers, slowly sitting back down.
“I’ll deal with you later.” I glared at my sister as her smirk got bigger. She put her hands in the air.
“I surrender!” She said sarcastically. I shot her a scowl, then turned back to the other girls, taking a deep breath for my announcement. They looked at me questionably and whispered, “What?”
“I had this dream last night about the strangest things. There were tunnels and weird creatures, that looked like incredibly small people. But strangely, there were these two boys, that I’ve never seen before in my life. One had dark shaggy brown hair with crystal blue eyes, he was very tall, but the other one had dirty blonde hair and dreamy bright blue eyes.”
Jess looked behind me and Avery, pointing. “Like them?” I turned to see where she was pointing. I gulped, and slowly nodded my head.
“Exactly like them.” I said looking back at her with confusion and fear mixed in my hazel-green eyes. I had the sudden urge to protect the blonde one, I don’t know why, I’ve never even met him yet.
Except for in my dreams.
Tell me if you guys like it!! :)
