Caleb POV
I fell asleep, but am instantly awake when I hear doctors shouting. "Code red. Prior. Get Doc. McAndrew and Doc. Nate." I started freaking out and by the looks of my parents and friends, they were scared too. What's happening? After I saw doctors and nurses running in the direction of the surgery room, I go up to a lady at the desk. "Yes, can I help you."
"Yeah. I'm Caleb Prior, Tris' sister. I was wondering if you know what happened or what a code red is."
"Yeah. It's when her heart stops and they have to do things to make it start. When one of the doctors or nurses comes back, I'll ask how she is."
"Thank you." She just smiles.
I go sit back down and wait. There's not much to do but wait.

When I woke up again, I realize I'm the only one in the waiting room. I go to the desk lady and she tells me where Tris is. I go to her room and see her lying on a hospital bed looking pale, but alive. My parents are in the one corner talking, while the gang is seated all around her. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's my life. I go up to her and kiss her forehead. She looked older, probably from the paleness. It made me really sad just thinking about her and the sickness. I know there's nothing I can do, but I wish there was.
Just a wee short one on this Friday. I won't update until maybe tomorrow early or Sunday later. I'm going to my friends house. I wanted to make sure you guys know she's alive so that's why it's short. Making it suspenseful. One more thing I might end this story in a few more chapters, but with a SEQUEL following. I'll let you know more details when I figure them out myself. Thanks for all the support fellow Fangirls and Fanboys. I really appreciate it.
