"Just tell me his name Do I know his mama" my mama said excitingly as she watched me get ready.

"Ma what are you so happy about this is literally our second date" I said accidentally snitching on myself.

"Well this your first time bringing him up to me. Besides I'm happy cause your finally becoming a normal teenager you never go anywhere you just sit on that phone" my mama said handing me my edge brush

"Well I do go places" I said trying to convince myself.

"Un huh" she said leaving my room to get ready for work.

I decided to call Alontai to make sure he had the right address Since he never been to my house before.

"My fault if I'm taking to long I'm on my way" he said in a smooth tone.

"It's okay I just wanted to make sure you have the right address" I said.

"Yeah I do down south right" he said.

"No that's my friend's place I stay on East side" I said.

"You from East" he asked with a sense of shock in his voice.

"Yeah what's the issue" I said.

"Ion want to put you in danger ma, but I got heat on my head that way, and I just wanted to let you know that before I even ride with you" he said.

"It's  okay I'm safe on East side they like brothers to me ain't nothing going to happen I'll send you the address"  I said truly not worried.

"Ite I'll text you when to come out" he said before hanging up.

I was still thinking about what Alontai said on the phone earlier. I do know that East and South got beef, but Damien told me they settle that beef on a agreement after both sides was loosing people left and right. I think he called it a "hood war", "Gang war", or something. All I know is that's dumb it's just some blocks if we being honest.

I really hope Alontai isn't involved with that mess. I already be worried about Damien I don't need another person to worry about being found in a ditch.

I walked outside and looked for Alontai's car before I finally found it. When I got into his car I was immediately hit with this worried vibe just felt completely off. I seen he was clutching something that I assumed to be a gun. Before we drove off he starred at me in my eyes then proceeded to look me up and down before complimenting me. This sent chills down my spine.

"So where are we going" I asked letting my curiosity get the best of me.

"Normally I would take my date to dinner and a movie, but your different I wanted to take you somewhere special" he said.

I thought to myself where could somewhere special be in Florida.

"You ever been horse back riding" he said with a growing smirk on his face.

"No and where are we going to horse back ride at 8 something" I said laughing.

"My dad owns a ranch we have two horse Cali and knight" he said nonchalant.

"That's cool I never been near a horse, but as a little girl I had a growing fascination for them" I said.

"Well that's about to change today" he said.

As we got out the car we pulled up to a medium size plot of land. As we walked towards this big ranch I could even see the two horses.

Something deep down inside of me confirmed to me that Alontai family must got a lot of money. This didn't matter to me it just brought a confusion to me.

My mind doubled back to what Alontai had said earlier about having heat on his head. What doesn't make sense to me is if he lives on the good side of Bryd city. I assumed since this is where the ranch is located, so why would he have heat on head on east side.

"So you want a nice and easy ride or a crazy ride" he said approaching the black and brown horse.

"What do you mean" I said.

"What I mean is jit these two horses have different personalities. Cali she's wild she loves to take you on a ride of your life. She's very energetic. While on the other hand knight he's more of a calm free spirit you can view the whole world at a different speed riding him" he said enthusiastically.

"I want to ride knight" I said with a smile.

He helped me mount onto the back of the horse. I was gripping him really tightly scared to let go as we rode slowly throughout the path. We talked about many different things during this time like how he feels about life. I even felt myself loosen my grip and become more comfortable the longer we rode. We eventually came to a stop on a beach. It was so calm and diligent.

We got off of knight and sat on the beach. Alontai held my hand as I laid my head on his chest. It was like his heart beat, and the movements of the waves were in sync. This gave me a relaxing filling while seeing the stars reflect across the deep blue ocean. While the waves crashed against the shore.

This side of Alontai really changed my view on him I thought he was a hoe as I thought about this I slowly drifted off seeing nothing but a empty black space.

This chapter was short but I hope you guys enjoyed this side of Alontai
