Part 36: You

25 11 9

You know my deepest secrets,
You know the dark, sombre me.
You've seen me being a mess,
You've noticed me feel like I'm less-
Not enough,
Never enough.

You had known the girl I used to be,
You had known the unconfined me.
And you know the one who sobs into the dark,
You've always known the girl who's afraid to embark.

You've seen me being effervescent,
Always incessant.
But sometimes, when I feel too low,
I cry to your crescent figure
And you seem to absorb my every cry.
That's why I say,
When with you,
I'm never demure.

~Ash.
