Part 23: Ignorance Isn't Bliss

30 11 24

I'm tired of disregarding,
I'm wearied by avoiding .
Ignorance isn't bliss,
I'll say..
It's more like a kiss.
Soft and loving at first,
Heartfelt and passionate.
Cherishing and caressing.
Time runs slow,
Making the hearts glow
But when two pairs of lips part-
They crave more,
But they can't get anymore.
Too breathless,
Too giddy.

Just the way I can't ignore you,
Just the way I crave you even more,
But can't get you anymore.
I'm too giddy in your love..
Dead love.
We were too much in love,
Or was it just me?
Our love was pure,
It was bliss,
It was like a fairy-tale
That I really miss.
It ended too quick,
Just like that kiss.
We became tired,
We became breathless-
More like hopeless.

I tried to ignore you.
I felt better,
I felt happier.
But more than anything,
I felt..empty.
An emptiness that haunted me,
That made me vulnerable.
It made me want more..
And more.
Ignoring you wasn't bliss,
It made me miss-
Miss you more.
Ignorance isn't bliss.

~Ash.

Hiiiiiiiiii!
I had made a draft of this poem so many days ago xd.

Ignorance isn't always bliss. We try to ignore many comments that are passed upon us, many people that we meet who hurt us and we try to ignore many other things. But do we actually ignore them? Think about it! ;)

Comment down your thoughts on this poem. I would love to know about what my readers think about it. Don't forget to voteeee :)

Sorry if I did any grammatical typos, my brother was pulling at my shirt to go and play football with him ;-P

Okieee, bye! Meet y'all soon❤
