We arrive at dispatch. It's white as can be. The black suits stand out well. "What is the meaning of this Allen?" Drax asks "We have a situation with a demon," he says. Pierre groans. "Knew it. Of course, it's during our time off" she says annoyed. "So tell us what happened," Drax said. "We dont really know. All we know is that there are a few demons loose in dispatch" Allen told him setting some papers down. "What do you want us to do sir?" I asked finally speaking. Allen looked at Pierre and Drax. " Kill it." I took out my scythe. "Gladly. " Drax lowered my weapon. "Training scythes won't do much to a demon. You will be in charge of finding the children and keeping them occupied. " I frowned but nod and do off to search for them.Once I found them I  rounded them up I grabbed their attention with a follow the leader game and others. I played with them for about two hours before Pierre and Drax finally returned. They were covered in demons blood and some of their own. "You look like you had fun," I said putting a child down. "Kinda," Pierre said. "Come. We must go now" Drax informed us. I wasted no time and followed. When we got back Pierre and Drax sit on the couch and examine their wounds. Pierre has a laceration on her arm, leg, and torso while Drax seems to have hurt his leg and has cuts on his face. "Ouch. They got you good." I said.

"We've been through worse" Pierre told me. I smiled. "So did you get it?" I asked setting my bag down. "Yeah, we killed it." Drax nodded. "That good. Stupid demons." "Ow! Damn it Drax!" Pierre yells as Drax disinfects her lacerations. "That demon put up one hell of a fight," Pierre says. She seems annoyed that her clothes are drenched in blood. "How did it get in?" Drax put down the bottle."It posed as a reaper". "Wow," I said. "Ow! Can you stop!?" Pierre says angrily. "I have to. You're going to get an infection" Drax told her. "I'm almost done Pierre calm down," He told her. Once he finishes they both take a few pills "Ugh I hate this," Pierre grumbles.

I look up from looking at my phone. "Are we on tonight?" I ask. "Later tonight. We have a deadly storm coming" Pierre answered. "I should prepare. I need a coat." I said getting up. "I'm coming with you! Mine is torn to shreds" Pierre gets up. "We need to make it quick we don't have much time". Pierre says as we walk out the door. She led me to a small coat shop down the street from dispatch. I began looking at some coats. "Oh!" I exclaimed as I ran over to a black coat taking it. Something in the back of the store caught my eye. A pair of black combat boots. I try them on to make sure they fit and they do. I bring everything to the checkout and pay for it. We head back. Pierre fills out a few papers before she speaks again. "Alright now we can go". I nod and follow. We get to Michigan about an hour early. I put on my gear and wait for her to do the same. Once she puts on her coat and gets her scythe ready. "This one is going to be a long one" "Ugh, it's snowing. I hate the snow." I complained, putting my hood on. "Let's make this quick," Pierre said. I nod as we start to reap the souls as the snow becomes harsher. I try to use my sleeve to shield myself from the snow as  I reap souls. "ugh. It's getting worse!" I tell her. Pierre covers her face. "I can't see a damned thing!" She says as she reaps more souls.

As time passes it gets harder to see and it gets colder. I slipped on some ice but catches my balance easily. "it's so. Cold. Achoo!" I said shivering. "Just a few... more... souls!" Pierre told me through chattering teeth. I push through the snow and reap a few more. All I can see if white with traces of red. The last soul is finally reaped but Pierre cant see to get them back. I try to help but I can't see either. Pierre took off her jacket and wrapped it around me. "What are you doing Pierre? You need your coat." I tell her. "No, you keep it. It's my job to keep you safe so that's what I'm doing". I don't argue. I used her jacket as a face shield.

"Shit! I can't find the distress signal!" She says as she looks for it."I don't have one yet," I tell her. "Looks like we're going to have to wait this out then". I nodded. " we need to find shelter to wait this out." She nods back. "Good idea."I help to look. " over here" I called as I dragged Pierre into an alleyway. It's still cold but the building is blocking the wind. Pierre's hair is a mess, there's snow in it and it's tangled. I tucked mine under my hat while She shivers and bites her tongue to keep her teeth from chattering. "See if you can find a metal trash can," I told her. " She gave me a weird kook. "Why do we need a trash can?" I smiled at her. "You'll see," I told her as I pulled out my sketchbook, a lighter and lighter fluid. She grabs a trashcan and pulls it over. "Perfect!" I exclaimed as I started ripping the paper out of the book then throws it in then pours some fluid in. Grabbed some old pieces of wood from a dumpster and tossed it in then I poured some fluid on another piece of paper and threw it in. "The trash can fire is complete it should help a little," I told Pierre as we warm our hands. Pierre is shivering uncontrollably and stays by the fire. I took off her coat and tossed it to her. "Here.""No! Your safety and well-being is my first priority!" She said as she throws it back. "I'm fine," I said as I tossed it back. "My coat is thick and we are blocked from the wind." She shook her head. "Buying this was a mistake. It's beautiful but not very good at its job" she said still shivering.

"Mine is big I'm sure it could wrap around is both," I tell her opening my coat. " I just need to get someone's attention. Do you have a flashlight?" I nod pulling out my phone. "Not your typical one," I told her as I tap a button on my phone. A bright light comes out of the back. She snatches it from me and fiddles with it. "How do you turn it off?" I swipe down on the screen and tap the button that looks like a flashlight. "Wonderful" Pierre takes it and aims it at a house across the street. She flashes it a few times. A few flashes come from the house across the street. "Should we go over?" I ask. "Yes. One of my coworkers is over there he said he'll let us in". I pick up my duffle bag and we make our way to the house.
