Reaper: Book 1

Lucifer Pt. 1

I decide to go shopping for new clothes in Hell. I go to Caio's and shower. He loans me a pair of shorts and a shirt. I thank him and hang out catching up for an hour more than make my way to shop. Nightfall comes and Adrian notices I haven't returned. He sighs "Do I really have to go to hell?" He asks himself. More hours pass still nothing. Meanwhile, Lucifer impales me with his staff. Causing me to scream. "You reapers are like bugs needing to be squished." He says as he smacks me across the face. "Apple-eating shit lord!" I spat out ."Do you dare speak to me that way? He threatens. "Eat me," I say to him spitting out some blood. "Haha, I just might. After your dead". He says as he continues to strike me. He starts using his staff and repeatedly hits me with it. I try to shield my head from the blows but it's hard. Lucifer laughs at the sight of his prey covered in her own blood. This goes on for hours.

Back in the realm, Adrian shivers at the thought of having to possibly talk to a demon but teleports to the hotel. Prue is sitting on the couch when he gets there. "Oh hello, dearie." She says. He tries not to gag from the smell "I'm looking for Emberly," He says. "She's not here. Caio said she left his house to go shopping." Prue tells him. "I know that," Adrian says. "That was hours ago." She says getting her staff. "One-moment dear ill see if I can see where she is." Adrian nods. She does her thing then quickly snaps out of it. "Oh my, this is bad. Really really bad." She says. "Lucifer?" He asks. She nods. "She's badly hurt. Lucifer is still beating her. So much blood". Prue says as her eyes turn blue. "Not a surprise. He kidnaps reapers every century". Adrian says to her. " im aware. Sadly I can't interfere with certain parts of time. Or id reverse it." She says. He sighs. "Time to remind Lucifer who the real rulers of hell are," Adrian says smiling.

Back at the castle, I fade in and out of consciousness as Lucifer continues his ruthless attacks. I scream when she wakes as he hits me again. "Stop, please. I don't want to die." I beg. "Haha, Deal with it! " He says coldly delivering more blows before tossing me into the stone wall causing my arm to break. I cough up blood as I look up. I can see someone behind Lucifer but the blood and tears make it hard to make them out. I cough again passing out. Lucifer smiles and raises his staff to strike me again. Adrian grabs the staff out of his hand. " Might I remind you what awaits when you hurt a reaper?" He tells him. "Hehe. And who are you,? And how did you get in here?". He says.

I open my eyes long enough to see Adrian standing with Lucifer. "A...Adrian....." I mumbled fading again. "Hehe, your kind is hard to kill but I found that if you keep beating them they eventually wear down." He says as he walks around Adrian. "You know who I am." He says crossing his arms. Lucifer thinks for a moment. "Ah yes, I remember now. Hello, lust. Or Adrian as the brat calls you. Do you really want to fight the king of hell?" Adrian laughs. "Shall I remind you who walked away unscathed the last time we fought?" Adrian asks. "Hehe, I don't need reminding. Why do you care for her? She may be one of you but she is just a child. That brat won't stand a chance of being a reaper or a good one. Why bother.? She's nothing but a little girl. No one will miss". He says. Adrian narrows his eyes at him. "All reapers are protected, especially the recruits. She's only into her first year of training, you said the same about multiple reapers who turned out to be higher than expectations". Lucifer walks over to me.* Yes but this one..." He says as he kicks me in the stomach causing me to heave."....this one is too far damaged now to do anything here she can't even move. I think I broke her." He smiles at Adrian. "You've said that about every single reaper you captured. And I mean every single one." He says. He blocks Lucifer's next kick by sticking his foot in between them.

Lucifer leans over for a while. He recovers and stands up. Waving his hand he sends Adrian across the room. "Playing dirty now, are we?" He says with a grin. Adrian lands on his feet. "Just doing one of my many jobs." As am, I. Hell is my domain. I will punish as I see fit. Now leave so I can rip her head off and uses it as decor. " He says. "Actually this isn't your domain. It belongs to the sins, we created it. We only gave you permission to make sure everything stays as it should here". Adrian informs Lucifer. "And that is what im doing my friend". He says walking over to me. He picks my lifeless body up. "Wave up my hand and she's done for. I weakened her enough. Now shall we part ways? Be a shame for her to perish. "He says. "No need." He says with a smile. Mary ann hits Lucifer in the back of the head with the end of her scythe and grabs me. Lucifer lays on the floor knocked out.

"This guy never learns, does he?" Mary Ann (Pride)asks. "Maybe we should dispose of him while we have the chance," Adrian says. Mary ann shakes her head. "Just a bit longer then his daughter can rule," she says. I start to wake up again. I noted im being held lime a football by Pride. "What's going on? Put me down! Where is Batzy? Oww!" She looks at me and smiles. "Oh hey". Mary Ann says. Adrian smiles. " Im right here." He tells me. "Batzy it hurts. Tell her to put me down. I don't want her carrying me. She's holding me. like i'm a football. She is crushing my arm more than it is. Can you carry me? I can't walk can't really move. Too much pain". I ask. "Hehehe. No can do I'm afraid. I would just hold you the same way". he says. "Don't worry we'll get some disinfectant," Adrian says as they leave with me. "No. Not that. Anything but that. Im in enough pain I don't need more. Oww dammit!" I wince in pain.

Adrian grabs a bottle of disinfectant and pours it in my wounds "AHHHHH!" "Oh calm down it's not that bad," Mary Ann says. I glare at her. "Shut your face. You try getting this poured on you with broken bones!" I shout As he pours more where the bones are broke. "Ahhh! Goddammit! No more Batzy it hurts!" I beg. "We've done this countless times," she says. "Oh, hush I'm almost done," Adrian says. I curl in a ball as he finishes. "He only has a few more decades left, then his daughter will take the throne," He says. All I can do is nod as I try to will away my fear. "Damn it! I knew I shouldn't have left them in charge!" Mary Ann shouts. She shows Adrian something and he sighs. "Alright, well let's hope we beat him there." He says with a sigh. "Oh no not again! I'm not mentally stable to deal with your physio brother right now." I tell them. "Oh, we know. Just let us do the talking and possible fighting". Mary Ann says." I will just hide somewhere," I reply.
