Work was already hectic the minute I walked in the doors, we hadn't even started our shifts yet and somehow all the guests were mingling about in the rooms.

"Am I late or something?" I asked Adrienne, her eyes raising to meet me. She shot me a half smile, delivering out a few cocktails as she threw a shaker my way.

"Nah," She groaned, "Ty let our old coworker come in for some dumb party, we've only been here for like an hour so far - but get on your station! We're about to open for real."

My mind exploded, this place was already packed! How in the world were we going to have even more people come in here? I watched Adrienne shove the tips from her counter into her pocket, I already knew tonight was going to take care of all the bills I had spilling out from my bank account.

"Good night?" I asked, whipping around the side to stand beside her. She looked me over, waggling an eyebrow at my outfit as I looked down. I had opted to wear something a little bit more out of my comfort zone, but still enough to keep my parts very covered.

"Well it will be now that you're fitting the part," She slithered, placing a finger on the tight black tank I'd decided to throw on.

It was plain, but it hugged my curves in all the right places and I thought it gave me a bit more of an edge.

"Kensie," Taylor's jaw lowered as she approached me, her eyes darting around my figure as I knew exactly what was about to come, "Decided to slut it up tonight?"

Adrienne laughed, still keeping her attention away from Taylor, "Tay, if you need me to lend you some money for a new outfit, just let me know. God knows you'll probably be walking out with five bucks again tonight."

Adrienne's insult was so quiet as I watched the flood of people beginning to enter, but Taylor still managed to frown like she was slandered.

"Just so you know, Adrienne, my shirt is more than your whole bank account. I wouldn't be making assumptions about what I can afford," Taylor shot back, but this time I actually laughed.

Taylor smiled, awaiting Adrienne's backfire as I watched her begin to steal a few cartons of garnishes. Adrienne gave Taylor one last warning glare, almost as if to say she wasn't amused and finally, she left.

"I swear to God, if she steps one more foot over here, I'm going to mangle that Versace skirt with the rest of our bloody mary mix."

I laughed again, "I'll help!"

Adrienne returned my smile, keeping her gaze distracted as she went back to cleaning the counter, "Good. I'll need a second hand if she starts to flail."

We drifted off into a few other smaller conversations as we got the counter ready for the night, who knew Adrienne could be such a cool girl? At first glance, you'd think she'd be this monster, but we actually had a lot in common. Not nearly where Chloe and I bonded, but it was close. I could definitely see us becoming good friends if our relationship continued to progress like it was.

"So do you live alone?" Adrienne asked me as the counters started to crowd. I looked over, trying to multi-task as I watched a girl close to six feet tall stride up to us. Yet instead of walking over towards the empty stools on the bar, she came right for me.

Her blonde hair was tied loosely up into a braided knot, a few strands seeming to escape as she flicked them to the side of her face. Her hips began to sway from side to side as the light blue dress she was wearing began to inch up her thighs, was she trying to impress me for some reason?

She had to have the wrong girl.

"Move," She snapped at the customer directly in front of me, pushing him off his stool as she took his place.
