"Dahye is playing Juliet?" Chenle exclaimed, a lot louder than he was supposed to. Jisung immediately covered his mouth.
The two boys were at Jisung's locker, just chilling before class started. There weren't many students around but Jisung was still worried since Dahye's locker wasn't that far away.
"Yah, do you have to be so loud?" Jisung asked. Chenle shrugged.
"I mean, isn't that a good thing? Didn't you have a crush on her?" Chenle asked.
"Chenle!"
Chenle giggled at his friend's reaction. "I'm just messing with you."
Just then, Dahye approached her locker with Renxiang following close behind. Jisung couldn't help but overhear their conversation.
"You're still not talking to Byungho, are you?" Renxiang asked.
Dahye shook her head. "How could I, he completely betrayed me."
"I don't know, that just seems so out of character. Maybe he had a reason." Renxiang suggested.
"I don't think so." Dahye replied.
But he's Bomi's sister, Jisung thought just as Chenle began snapping fingers in front of him.
"Yah, Park Jisung, did you even hear what I said?" Chenle asked.
"Huh?" Jisung said, turning back to his friend.
Chenle sighed. "As expected. What were you even thinking about anyways?"
"Nothing." Jisung lied. "I should probably ask Dahye to do some extra rehearsals, shouldn't I?'
"Yeah you, should." Chenle told him as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Jisung stared at the phone in his hand. I should, but can I?
Suddenly, his phone was removed from his hand. "Oh my gosh, do I have to do everything for you?"
"Chenle!" Jisung exclaimed but by the time he had gotten his phone back, it was too late. Chenle had already sent a text.
Jisung
Hey, do you want to rehearse together today after school? To Jisung's horror, he heard Dahye's ring from across the hall, the girl checking her phone. He watched as she typed a reply.
She's probably going to say no and that's she's busy and then I'll look like an idiot!
"Yah, don't look so worried, I'm sure she'll say yes." Chenle said, just as the bell rang, signalling that they should head to class.
Jisung sighed as he slid his phone in his pocket, following Chenle to their first period.
Just as they settled down, Jisung's phone buzzed.
Eyeing the teacher who had his back towards them, Jisung quickly checked his messages.
Dahye
Sure, just let me tell Donghyuck....
Dahye had to admit, she was surprised to see that Jisung had texted her but with the new change, she needed all the help she could get with her new part.
Dahye was splayed across one of the studios, stretching as she waited for Jisung to join her after his hip hop class.
The doors opened and Dahye turned her head to see Jisung entering in his red flannel and black joggers.
"Sorry I'm late." Jisung said, dropping his bag to the side.
"It's alright, I'm just warming up." Dahye told him as she stood up. "Did you want to rehearse the ballet duet or the hip hop one?"
