Dahye was secretly thankful for Jisung. She was pretty upset to hear that Jisung and her weren't chosen to be the leads for the dance but his words had definitely helped her feel better. Eventually Ms. Kim called them back to the centre of the floor, and the rehearsal continued.

Dahye was impressed at how much progress they had made. They was still a bit of the dance left to learn but it was already looking so good.

I guess this is what it's like to go to an arts school.

"Alright, now that we have our leads, we'll be having our costume fitting next rehearsal and then next week we'll be performing it." Ms. Kim.

"That fast?" Hyunjae exclaimed, making them all chuckle. Ms. Kim nodded.

"The open house is in the beginning of the year, don't forget that." Ms. Kim warned. "Anyways, you're all dismissed. Don't forget to check your duet partners in the morning."

Dahye followed the rest of the group as they thanked Ms. Kim before exiting the class. Dahye made sure to give Hyunjae and Jisung a wave before entering the female change rooms.

"Ugh, I can't believe she put me with Junsu. If she put me with Jisung, I could have easily gotten the lead." It was Bomi.

"Yeah right." Dahye heard Hyelim mutter from beside her. Unfortunately for her though, it seemed as though Bomi had heard it too.

"What did you say?" Bomi asked, immediately approaching Soojin with her hands on her hips.

"N-n-nothing." Hyelim stuttered out. Bomi narrowed her eyes at the poor girl.

"What's your problem?" Dahye asked, deciding to step in. "If you wanted the lead, you should have worked harder."

"Me? Work harder?" Bomi exclaimed, turning her attention to Dahye. This girl is really getting on my nerves.

"Yeah you. Ms. Kim didn't chose you for a reason, maybe you should think about that." Dahye replied.

"Yah, who do you think you are?" Bomi said, raising her hand.

Dahye flinched as she braced for the impact of the slap but it never happened. Instead Soojin stood beside Bomi, holding her arm.

"Are you crazy? The teachers have their offices right beside this room. They can hear everything." Soojin warned.

Bomi shook her arm off, crossing her arms and turning around. "Whatever. I just can't wait for the duets. That prize already has my name on it."

Soojin gave Dahye a smile as Bomi began to walk towards the other side of the change room where here things were. Dahye mouthed the words thank you to the junior girl.

No worries, Soojin mouthed back before grabbing her own bag. She gave Dahye and Hyelim a wave before leaving the change room.

"How do you do that?" Hyelim whispered to Dahye.

"Do what?' Dahye asked back. Hyelim motioned to Bomi who was leaving as well.

"Stand up to her." Hyelim clarified. "She's a complete monster."

Dahye shrugged. "I don't know. She's just mean and rude to me and I can't stand that."

Hyelim nodded her head in agreement. "I agree, but I honestly don't have the guts for something like that."

Dahye felt sorry for the girl. Hyelim was such a good dancer but her quiet attitude made it easy for someone like Bomi to step over her.

"Have some confidence. You deserve the lead." Dahye reassured her. Hyelim smiled.
