"I hope you know, I still hate you." Donghyuck said as he adjusted his sunglasses.
"The feeling is mutual." Dahye replied as she stared out the window, the airport coming into sight.
The two siblings were in the car, driven by Mr. Lee and his wife sitting beside him in the passenger seat.
It was the start of summer after a long school year and they were meeting Jisung and Mark's family at the airport along with their friends. The four of them were travelling to South Korea, Jisung and Dahye for the summer while Donghyuck and Mark were going to stay there permenantly.
Not Donghyuck, Haechan.
Dahye still wasn't used to her brother's new name, but it was something she had to be done soon as her brother was about to become the next music sensation in Korea alongside Mark.
After the chat Dahye had with her parents, she had convinced them to allow her brother to follow his dream in pursuing music. It was a tough battle but in the end she had won, surprising his brother.
"We're here." Mr. Lee called from the front.
The two siblings began unloading their belongings most of them being Haechan's. While she was waiting for Haechan to grab his bags from the back, Dahye felt arms wrap around her and turned to see Jisung.
"Jisung!" Dahye exclaimed engulfing the male in a tight hug.
"Wow, did you miss me that much? It's only been a day." Jisung said with a chuckle.
"Fine, I won't hug you." Dahye said, releasing the hug but Jisung just pulled her closer to him.
"Achem."
The couple released themselves from each other to see that Haechan was done unloading his bags and the rest of their friends and family waiting for them.
The goodbyes took a lot longer than expected, expecially for Mark and Haechan. It seemed as though Chenle was about to cry, the idea of losing his favourite hyung and best friend.
"Relax." Renjun said, pulling Chenle away. "Jisung will be back when school starts and Mark will visit."
"But..." Chenle sobbed.
"Oookay, I think it's time to go." Mark said, quickly motioning to the gates.
"Take a lot of pictures." Renxiang whispered to Dahye. Dahye gave her friend a nod and a smile.
"I will, don't worry."
The four waved goodbye as the entered the gates, separating them from their loved ones.
"Alright, I don't know about you, but I'm hungry." Haechan said, rubbing his stomach.
"Me too." Mark agreed. "We'll meet you two at the terminal?"
Before either Dahye or Jisung could respond, Haechan whisked the male away, leaving the two alone.
Dahye didn't mind though, as she walked with her hand laced with Jisung's through the airport.
"Hey, look." Jisung said, motioning to a video playing on a screen.
It was a ballerina, performing a solo on stage. Dahye recognized the variation from Sleeping Beauty, another one of her favourites.
"It's a ballerina." Dahye pointed out.
Jisung nodded his head. "Like you."
"Hey, you know what I just realized?" Dahye said as a thought popped up in her head.
"What?" Jisung asked, turning his head towards her.
"We're kind of like the characters we portrayed." Dahye told him.
"What, like Romeo and Juliet?" Dahye nodded.
"Romeo was from a world of hip hop while Juliet was from a world of ballet and they fell in love, like us." Dahye said as they began walking again.
"Are you saying that you love me?" Jisung asked, unexpectedly. Dahye smiled shyly.
"Maybe."
Dahye turned her head as she anticipated Jisung's response but he mumbled something she couldn't hear.
"What?" Dahye said, moving closer to him but she still couldn't hear him.
"Yah, Jisung, can you speak up?"
"I said I love you too!" Jisung said, a little too loudly. His ears immediately turned red as people began to stare at them.
Dahye giggled as the people turned away. "Aw, Jisung."
Jisung shook his head. "You make me do embarassing things."
"No I don't." Dahye said, defensively. "I'm just your ballerina."
Jisung smiled at her words. "Ballerina?"
"Yeah." Dahye nodded. "Am I not?"
"No, you are." Jisung said as the stopped, taking a seat in the waiting area. Jisung instinctive put his arm around her shoulders. "I kind of like that."
"Like what?" Dahye asked him as she looked into his eyes.
Like always, Jisung's bangs covered them but she could see how they sparkled as he stared back at her.
"The sound of it. You're my ballerina, Lee Dahye."
Dahye smiled back at him. "Yes, Park Jisung. I am."
The End.
