Chapter 15

It was the start of another week, the week of Neo School for the Arts' Open House. Students were bustling around after school, preparing to showcase the school to prospective students.

"Thanks for helping me." Renxiang said as Dahye helped her move her statue to the main hall of the school. "There's no way I could have done this alone."

"No worries." Dahye said, smiling to her friend. That's when her eyes caught onto the painting being hung up in the middle of the room. "Whoa."

Renxiang's attention immediately turned to where Dahye's was, just for a scoff to escape her lips. "Show off."

Renjun's head immediately turned, glaring at his younger sister. "You're just jealous."

"So not." Renxiang said as she crossed her arms, sticking her tongue out. Renjun rolled his eyes.

Dahye couldn't help but laugh at the Huang siblings' behaviour, the two of them reminding her of herself and Donghyuck. Dahye followed Renxiang towards the cafeteria, where their friends were waiting.

"The school looks so different with the new displays." Hyunjae said as they sat down at their regular table. Dahye couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"Those stupid displays took way too long to finish." Renxiang grumbled. "I stayed late after school for two weeks for mine."

"Renjun's is really good." Byungho pointed out. "Being placed in the centre is pretty big honour."

"Of course he's good." Hyunjae replied, wrapping an arm around Byungho's shoulders. "He's part of Dream, they're all art prodigies! Speaking of which, how's your video with Jaemin?"

Byungho smiled at the question. "We finished last night, do you want to see?"

The group of friends immediately nodded their heads. Byungho turned his laptop around, unplugging his headphones. He played the video for them as they all stared at the screen.

Dahye was in awe at the final product. Byungho and Jaemin had did an amazing job editing, and it made it look like her and Jisung had a beautiful artistic connection.

"Wow, is that really Dahye and Jisung?" Renxiang asked, pointing to the screen. "You two look like you've been dancing together forever."

"Yup." Byungho simply said.

"You should see them live, they're amazing!" Hyunjae exclaimed before glancing at Byungho. "Amazing dance partners that is, nothing more."

Why is he acting so weird?

Before Dahye could point out Hyunjae's behaviour, Byungho had shut his laptop.

"Well, that's the video we're showing." Byungho simply said as he packed his bag.

"Are you going somewhere?" Dahye asked as Byungho as he slung his bag over his shoulder.

"Just to the studios." Byungho said. Dahye immediately got up.

"I'll come with you." Dahye suggested.

I want to know why he's acting like this.

Byungho nodded his head. "Sure."

Dahye waved to Renxiang and Hyunjae who both seemed to want to stay in the cafeteria. Dahye didn't mind though, she rarely spent time with Byungho anyways.

The walk to the drama video studios was quiet, the only sounds coming from their footsteps.

The drama floor was the main floor, the video editing studios located in a hall off to the side of the theatre. There were also small studios of empty space for acting and musical majors to rehearse if needed.
