I'm definitely doing something wrong, Jisung thought as he Dahye suddenly pulled away, stepping back.
Jisung couldn't help but stare at the ground in embarassment. "I'm sorry, it was too soon wasn't it."
Jisung felt a finger on his chin push his face up, making him stare into Dahye's eyes. The girl shook her head.
"No, it wasn't. I was just surprised, I should be sorry." Dahye confessed. "You did nothing wrong."
"Oh," was all Jisung could say.
He heard Dahye take a deep breath before cupping his face in her hand. "Jisung I have a question for you."
"What is it?" Jisung asked her.
"Do you like me?"
Jisung didn't know how to respond. Do I like her?
He definitely enjoyed the girl's presence and spending time with her. Dahye was easy to talk to and he felt like he could be honest with her.
Every time he saw her, he also felt warm and fuzzy, something he didn't feel with anyone else.
"Because I think I like you." Dahye whispered.
Jisung eyes widened in shock. Did I just hear what I thought I heard?
Suddenly, Dahye stepped away, letting go of Jisung's face. "Sorry, you probably don't feel the same way, that was dumb, just ignore it all."
Jisung grabbed Dahye's arm, pulling her towards him. "Dahye stop."
Dahye immediately stopped talking, avoiding his eyes.
"I just ruined our friendship, didn't I?"
"No you didn't. You know why?" Jisung asked. Dahye shook her head. "Because I think I like you too."
"You what?" Dahye said softly as she looked up at him.
"I.... I like you too, Dahye."
Dahye didn't even hesistate for a second as she pressed her lips against his, connecting them in their second kiss.
With Dahye's arms around his neck, Jisung held onto her waist, pulling her closer to his body. Their second kiss was definitely much better the first, both of them able to find matching rhythms.
Out of breath once they broke apart, Jisung hugged the girl tightly in his arms. Wow.
Dahye buried her face into his chest, slightly embarrassed. Jisung couldn't help but run his fingers through her hair, a light and soft gesture.
"Now we just need to do that on stage." Jisung chuckled. Dahye lifted her head to stare at him.
"I'm glad we got out first kiss out of the way. If we did that on stage, it would have been so embarrassing."
Jisung couldn't help but nod in agreement.
"Yeah it would be."
...
Dahye had held Jisung's hand so many times before but this time it felt different. It felt natural, like her hand belonged in his.
The two had walked around the park, the blanket and dishes packed in the basket that Jisung held. They had taken a few photos together, enjoying the presence of one another.
Now they were patiently waiting for Donghyuck to pick them up, watching as the cars entered and exited the parking lot.
"So." Jisung said, breaking the silence. "What does this make us?"
