*3rd person
Jack followed Valka into her house, looking at all the familiar stuff he saw when he first entered the house. Jack followed Valka into the kitchen and silently stayed behind the counter. He watched as she moved a couple pans to the sink that were on the island and turned around, placing her hands in front of him, she sighed.
"So, this guy, he can control Hiccup?" She asked.
Jack nodded, knowing how hard it must be to digest the sudden disappearance of your son. Jack placed his staff on the counter and sat down on the bar stools that his under the island. Valk ran her hand through her loose hair. She cleared her throat and slammed the island.
"That dammned fool!" She said. "What was he thinking."
Jack gulped. "We will get him back, I promise you," he comforted.
After staring at Jack for a couple minutes, she let out a breath in defeat, sitting up. "So how are we gonna get him back?" She asked.
Jack smiled. "Okay, so we were hoping if you and the other dragon riders would help us get back Hiccup. Since you can see me, it should be easy to convince everyone else. All we need is help and dragon power." Jack explained.
Valka lifted an eyebrow. "Us?" She asked. "Who is us you spoke of?"
"Uh... Well... That's not important," Jack looked her in the eye. "How is it that you can see me?" He asked.
She rolled her eyes and chuckled. "Even tho I'm old, I'm not blind. I knew Hiccup was hiding something and I knew about you from when I was young. You gave me a fun childhood with my father before he passed away. Don't you remember that? The young girl in the built boxed armor I used to make?" She asked.
Jack did remember, all though his memories from that far back were still hazy, but he did remember that snowy night when he helped a girl who was praying for one last angelic night with her father. So he made a snowman out of ice and carved a beautiful message that he has loved using and hopes to use it on Hiccup one day. The message got the little girl to stop crying and run inside and out popped a man in a wheel chair looking up at it. He remembered the father looked at him and smiled, before having a small snowball fight in the front yard.
Jack came back later that night and noticed the girl was happy, yet sad. Turns out her father had passed away the night after. He didn't know that it was Valka nor that the place he visited was Berk.
"He told me about you," Valka said, breaking the silence. "Ever since then, I knew who you were, Jack Frost, and I thank you for everything. I heard a myth going around about a lake that stayed frozen for three years because Jack Frost sacrificed himself for a town. So I told Hiccup and the rumors were true." She said.
"So, you knew about me?" Jack asked, his smile growing.
She nodded. "Yes, I was the one to tell Hiccup all about you, you know how stubborn teenagers can be. But his dad passing away has really killed him," she said, "until you showed up."
"Until I showed up?" He asked.
"I could tell he was happy to ho on that mini adventure, in fact I think you guys got a little more attached than I thought." She raised a brow and rested her elbows on the counter top.
Jack didnt catch on at first, until his cheeks burned bright red. "Wait... Uh... What? No... I-"
Valka interrupted him with laughter. "I'm not blind, Jack. I know the look two people get when they are in love." She said. "I remember the very song Stoik and I danced to. Maybe one day you guys will be able to dance to it as well."
Jack's ear felt like they were branded by a burning hot iron and shoved into lava. He sat there quietly. "Well... Uh..." The door opened loudly and in came Sandy who looked worried. Jack glanced over at Valka before grabbing his staff and jumping off the chair. He squatted down and placed a hand on Sandy's shoulder.
"What is it little guy?" He asked.
Sandy made Pitch above his head.
"Pitch? What about Pitch?
"He sent us a message," Bunny shouted, hopping into the room.
Jack got up and was about to speak when Valka grabbed his arm. "What is it?"
Jack glanced down at Valka's arm and back at her eyes. "Trouble." He said.
She gritted her teeth. "I may not be able to see who you are talking to, but I will help." She said.
Jack nodded and took off outside to meet North who was standing next to Tooth. Tooth lied there unconcience with a small message on the ground, carved in sand. Jack rushed over to her and tried to grab her, but was shoved back into Bunny. He moaned, patting his butt.
"Ow! What the hell was that?" Asked Jack.
Bunny shoved Jack off of him and stood up, dusting his fur.
"Ve don't know." North said.
Valka put her hand over her mouth, which caught Jack's attention. He flew over to her and placed one hand on the distraught Mother. "What is it Val?" He asked.
She pointed at the message. "That... That's Hiccups writing." She said.
Jack looked down at the message and glared.
The message read:
Want to help, Jack? Come alone to the spot we first met.At the bottom, was a small insignia that Jack knew to well. The insignia, was Jack Nightmare's inicials. (Look at the picture for this chapter. That's how the insignia looks)
