Tooth awakens

Back on Berk

Valka stayed near Tooth, not moving for any reason. North stood forward with a giant heavy sigh.

"It shouldn't be taking this long," North said, starting to pace the grass with worried eyes. Valka nodded, standing up to stop North dead in his tracks.

"Stop pacin', he'll be back soon, and he will be fine." Valka said.

A giant gasp made everyone turn around to see Tooth sitting up, coughing and gagging up a storm. Happily, everyone cheered and ran to hug her.

"Oh, finally!" Bunny shouted.

She rubbed her head, looking up at all of them. "What... What the hell happened?" She asked, staring at everyone's faces.

"You passed out, Jack Nightmare did something to you and you-"

"Jack Nightmare? Don't tell me Jack went to meet with him?" She asked, standing up a little too quickly as she wobbled onto Valkas shoulder.

"Yes he did, vhy?" Asked North, feeling his excitement die down and his stomach turn to Tooth's expression.

"Oh no," she said, "he's in trouble."

"What?" Asked Valka.

"Jack Nightmare told me I was just collateral damage," she said. "His main goal was Jack." She slapped her mouth. "I can't believe I was so stupid as to get caught up in this, and jack... After three years he gets caught up in Pitch again. Its all my fault."

"Its not your fault, its Pitch's, just try to relax, mate." Bunny said.

"For all we know, Jack could be Pitch's puppet, yet again, or worse being tortured.. Again." She said.

"He has been through this before?" Valka asked.

Bunny nodded. "Three years ago, Pitch took over Jack and turned him against us, we got him back with consequences. He was shortly after he lost his memory. We tried to get it back but Pitch came in and practically whipped him to death. Knowing that Pitch has him, makes me worry that he might fall into that same darkness just like three years ago. Because once you get a taste of real darkness, you can't go back." Bunny said.

"Then we must save him," Valka huffed in a giant gust of air. "And my son."

"How, exactly?" Tooth asked.

Valka smiled, shrugging as she spread her arms out to reveal her town behind her. "Berk of course," she smiled, " they don't call us the town of dragon riders for nothing."

Tooth smiled. "So you have a plan?" She asked.

Valka nodded. "I have part of a plan, the rest is up for discussion. I need to involve my town. So we need to talk to them first." She smiled.

Tooth grinned. "That sounds wonderful," she said. "I think this will be a great plan. I just hope Hiccup and Jack are okay."

"PSH, its Jack Frost and a stubborn dragon rider," Valka said. "They are fine."

Tooth nodded, weakly, she stepped forward from the yard. And smiled. She was ready to save Jack and get his guardian ass to stay the old Jack frost that he was. Not the one filled with regrets and pain and sadness. The one that cracked sarcasm and jokes about everything. The Jack Frost that plays with Children so she could hear the laughter of the playing children. Three years seemed silent, but saving him will be the end of the silence. She will do everything she can, to not end up in despair again.

As people say, silence is a dagger of death that no one can itch.
