What Is This Feeling?

*Hiccups P.O.V (This story takes place after Hiccups dad dies and he finds his mother, but I changed the age xD)
*The next morning*

Ever since Pitch talked to me about his second plan, I didn't have nightmares anymore. Its as if they disappeared from my mind but I know its just because of him. I sucked in air and opened the door to the hallway. I walked out, seeing Jack having a friendly conversation with Bunny. I continued to walk into the meeting room.

  "Um, Jack can I talk to you?" I asked.

  Jack looked away from Bunny and smiled. "Sure, finish this later Kangaroo." He said. Bunny rolled his eyes and hopped away.

  Jack stood in front of me. "So your finally gonna talk to me?" He asked.

  I chuckled. "Yeah, sorry about that." I said. "I know I've been weird lately but its just because I was away from home. I haven't left home since I lost my legs and holy gods does it feel weird." I said.

  Jack shrugged. "We don't have to stay here you know," Jack smiled, jumping up and down on his feet like an excited bunny. "I know what we could do!"

  I smiled, turning around to follow him. "And what might that be?" I asked.

  "I know someone who may want to see me and I've been dying to see him!" He smiled. "Jamie! We need to go see Jamie! I heard he is 14 now!" He said smiling like and idiot.

  I rolled my eyes. "Okay, I guess that will clear my mind on everything." I said. "Let's go, but we should ask North if we could borrow some of those, uh.. Circly things that brought us here."

  "You vean my snowglobes?" Said a Russian voice behind me.

  I slouched before turning around. "Exactly!" I poked his belly. "Can we borrow some of those?" I asked.

North raised a brow at me and I quickly moved my hand away. He laughed really loudly, startling me as he gripped me off the floor to hug me. "Ah-haha! Of course vou can! 'Tis wonderful!" He said, setting me down on the ground.

  I stood there shocked for a moment before watching as he grabbed a bag full of little ones. The bag was the size of a grocery store and full of at least 10 of them. He handed me the bag.

  "Take these ones." He said. "It vill help you. And in case something happens or if vou want to go explore vou have extra's." He said. He smiled before turning to grab a plate of cookies and retreated from the room.

  I felt actually quite nice ever since the nightmares stopped and with everything I have been through, a good ole fashion dragon race sounded better to me. Maybe just Jack should go to Burgess and I should go home for a couple. Tell everyone where I have been. Yeah that sounds like a plan.

  I turned around to face jack and sucked in air. "Why don't you go to Burgess." I said.

  "What?" Jack asked looking a little down.

  "Well, its just... I kind of wanna go home for a bit and have a good ole fashion dragon race. Plus my mom will probably wanna know what I'm doing." I said.

  Jack sucked in a big gulp of air before standing straight. "Then I will accompany you to your home and then after we can go and visit Jaime together." He said.

  I chuckled. "Sounds like a plan," I said. Jack turned his back and started going towards the room. I thought back at what Pitch said and quickly grabbed Jack's hand. "Hey wait." I said.

  Jack turned around and looked at my hand worriedly. "What?" He asked.

  I let my shoulders slouch and looked down at my leg. "Do you remember that time you had the nightmare?" I asked.

  Jack turned his body completely towards me. "Yeah I remember, why?" He asked.

  I looked up at him in the eye. "I was afraid for you having that nightmare. Now I'm the one having nightmares and you still haven't left my side." I said. "Why haven't you?"

  Jack thought for a moment before looking me in the eyes. For the longest moment we stared at each other. I thought for a second he glanced down at my lips, but then he finally opened his mouth."Because you are having nightmares. I can't leave someone who is having nightmares alone. And plus you are special to me." He said.

  I felt my hand drop from his and my cheeks flush red. He smirked, right then he leaned in and smacked his lips against mine. I felt my face burn all the way to my ears. He pulled away and ran towards the door, leaving me there stuck in surprise. Did he just kiss me? Why did he kiss me, again? What was with that? Does he like me?

  As all these questions popped into my head I couldn't help but touch my lips and smile. My heart fluttered out of rhythm. What is this feeling?
