*Jack's P.O.V
We landed on top of a house that was close to the end of the forest, watching as the dragons played and chased the guardians around town. Valka passed by below me, looking up to see Toothless. Valka stopped and smiled up at us.
"Hey Toothless!" Valka said.
Toothless looked up at me as if waiting for permission to go to her. I raised a hand in an honorable gesture to go to the ground. Toothless wiggled his butt and dropped down on the ground. Valka patted the dragon on the head.
"Whose a good dragon?" Asked Valka. Toothless purred like a cat, happily. Her eyes averted up.
"Are you watching Toothless for Hiccup?" She asked.
My heart stopped. Did... Did she just.. Talk to me? Did she really just... Asked me something? Happily I shot my head forward with my heart beating."YOU CAN SEE ME?!" I shouted.
She threw her hand over her heart, backing away. "No need to yell, young boy," she said. "Yes I can, is that a problem?"
I jumped off of Toothless, landing on my face before standing straight in front of her. "You can see me?" I asked again.
She raised a brow. "Yes, your the young boy who looked sad and depressed when Hiccup visited last. Where is he?"
My heart dropped to my stomach. This is his mother and Hiccups supposed to be with me. I took a deep breath, running my hand through my hair.
"He.." I started, my eyes starting to fill with tears. "He's... He's missing," I said in almost a whisper.
Valka brought her hand up to her heart. "Missing?" Asked Valka.
I nodded. "Yeah, um... It.. Was actually my fault." I said, ignoring her eyes that landed on me. I couldn't bring myself to look at her after telling her the truth.
"What do you mean?" She asked.
"I.. I-" a slam behind me made me flinch and glance back, seeing North pinned down on the ground by a dragon. I rolled my eyes and turned my head to Valka. "I'll explain in a moment." I told her, using the wind to fly over to North. He looked up at me and I bent down.
"This might be easier than I thought," I said.
"Vhat do you mean?"
"Valka, she can see me." I told him.
"How?"
"I don't know, maybe Hiccup?" I phrased as a question. "But um... How will we deal with this? Should we use her?"
North rolled his eyes and pushed the dragon away from him, standing up as he wiped the visible slobber from his coat. I chuckled.
"Ve should use it, tell her the problem." He said.
I sucked in air and nodded, turning my body around to see her standing there. "Where is Hiccup?" She asked.
"Well, he was taken control of by a bad person."
"Its just like dragons," she said. "Dragons under the control of bad people, do bad thing." She looked up at me. "Its the same thing with hiccup, isn't it?"
I gulped down spit. "Yes it is. I know the pain he must feel because I was the cause of it." I said.
"Sometimes letting go is best," she said. "But letting go can lead to ter'ble things." She placed a hand on my shoulder. "I'm guessing the reason you are here, is for my help, young boy." She asked.
I nodded. "Please?"
