When Holland awoke the next morning from her dreams that were plagued by a ghost named Luke, she was truly starting to question her sanity.

Her alarm hadn't gone off that morning, giving her significantly less time to get ready then she would normally give herself. She sighed, dragging herself out of bed and throwing on the first tshirt she could find in her drawer.

"Guess we're going for lazy again today," Holland mumbled under her breath, throwing her laptop into her bookbag. She grabbed the sweatshirt hanging off the back of her desk chair, slipping it on as she raced to throw on her sneakers.

"Look who finally decided to get out of bed!" her father commented from the kitchen, smirking at his daughter as she shot him a glare, moving past him and her mother to grab a yogurt from the fridge.

"Ha ha, you're so funny dad," he hummed under his breath as Holland leaned in, giving him and her mother a kiss on the cheek. "I'm gonna be late, love you!"

"Love you too!"

Pulling into her normal parking spot, Holland rushed through the school doors, taking off down the corridors toward the music room. She figured of every place in the school, this is where she would find Flynn and Julie.

Turning onto the hallway leading to the room, Holland couldn't help but laugh at the figure of Flynn in the distance, sadly blowing into her trumpet. Holland stepped into the room, raising an eyebrow at the girl as she paused for a moment.

"Let me guess, not feeling the spirit?"

"No," Flynn deadpanned, bringing the trumpet back to her lips. "Not when Dirty Candy is playing."

Holland couldn't stop the next laugh that left her lips as Julie appeared in the doorway beside her, shooting their friend the same look she had as she continued her trumpet playing.

"What are you doing and where is everyone?"

"Pep rally," Holland informed her as Flynn finally put the trumpet down.

"I was kind of blowing it off because I wasn't really feeling the spirit,"

Julie sighed as she looked around the empty room. Holland put the pieces together, placing a hand on her friend's shoulder.

"Hey, it's okay. There's plenty of chances,"

"What are you talking about?" Flynn questioned, standing up. "Is everything okay?"

"Not really," Julie confided in her. "I had this new plan to play for Mrs. Harrison, hoping that she'd let me back in but...I guess I missed my chance."

"No, you didn't,"

Holland immediately caught on to what was happening as Flynn stepped between the girls, linking arms with them both and leading them off down the hallways toward the gym.
